Tim and David were lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Tim kindly drove us into town the day we arrived. Spacious and very clean rooms. At night you can hear insects and a lot of frog croaking. Small, beautiful falls walking distance from the property. I drink coffee early in the morning - Tim left the kettle out for me which was very helpful.

One of the best breakfasts we've had at a hotel, anywhere. The hosts and staff were all warm and very friendly. If you stay here, you MUST go out kayaking; Tim is a fantastic teacher and guide.

Tim and his family are great hosts. Together with his father from Ireland he built the business….a great story. Immediately as we arrived I felt welcome. He arranged for a swim with guide to a swimming area with waterfall and then a nice lasagna dinner. For the other guests he arranged a wild water rafting tour. The accommodations were simple but well planed, clean and comfortable.

Confortable beds, short drive to many excursions and activities, nice shower, amazing pool, waterfall in walking distance and David was very helpful, kind and fun, perfectly suitable for traveling with kids, we were there with our 14month old son who had a lot of fun.

Tim and David were excellent, made us feel like part of the family. Excellent Kayaking trip with Tim. Would highly recommend staying here. Ideal for couples and families. David is a great Barman and his attention to detail is top class.

I was tentative about booking Rema Lodge, as it didn’t have many reviews yet - but I am so glad I did. The facilities are beautiful, the houses are built in an open manner so that you feel like you are sleeping in the jungle. David, Tim and Monica are all super friendly and helpful. We also did a rafting tour with them, which was one of the absolute highlights of our stay. It was really a pleasure and we would have loved to stay longer!
