This 3-star hotel is located beside Lake Lübbesee, near the Mecklenburg Lake District. It offers a private beach, modern sports facilities and great connections with the A10 motorway. The family-friendly AHORN Seehotel Templin has a variety of spacious rooms. WiFi is available free of charge in all rooms and public areas. Children enjoy a great time in the YOKI AHORN Kidsworld. The private beach area offers a beach volleyball court and a 33-hectare area for football, basketball and boccia. “Paradise for kids, space to breathe for parents”
It’s very easy to get to from Berlin if you don’t have a car. Once you’re there, it’s a paradise for kids, they have so many activities there including a well heated indoor pool, children’s cinema, both indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and daily activities for kids eg crafting. The lake is also beautiful - it was too cold to swim in it but hope to come again in the summer.

“Eine Platte im Wald”
Mostly a family place but also suitable for quiet uncomplicated time in nature alone or as a couple. Good walking or cycling opportunities in all directions. Ostalgie experience: the building is renovated but otherwise remains an authentic "Platte" unchanged in form since the 1980s, so one can still experience the type of holiday the Party had planned for the citizenry of the GDR. Templin town is worth a day trip (the Karl Marx monument is perfectly preserved!)

The breakfast was good. The facilities for kids were also good, including the movie theatre, the petting zoo, and the playground. I was happy that the kids liked it.
