“Privacy Violation, Dirty Premises”

Short story: Imagine being Julia Roberts walking into Macy’s, buying two things, then being falsely accused of stealing. And being told you should be lucky to be allowed to stay. Long story: Made a last minute booking at the Temecula Creek Inn when some of the facilities at the original place I booked were closed. Was told on check-in that my room wouldn’t be cleaned unless I asked. Most hotels have an eco policy and I wanted to be alone to relax anyway so this wasn’t a problem. I wasn’t very happy with the condition of the room but just wanted peace, so I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it. The second day housekeeping walked into my room while I’m *half naked* in the bathroom with the door open and am yelling “No, don’t come in!” and “Go away!” They apologized and later, the front desk asked what they could do to make it right. I asked if a spa treatment could be provided but understood when they said the only relationship they have with the Pechanga is the shuttle service. I wasn’t going to demand things I didn’t need so I settled for a late check out and a bowl of fruit. Front desk told me I could check out at any time. The third day, I received a text from Hailey, the front desk assistant manager, to remind me that check out is at 11am. I called to say I was given a late checkout. With a condescending tone, Hailey told me that in fact, *I* had violated policy by not putting up the “do not disturb sign” and she couldn’t just let me check out at 11 PM or something. Still trying to be understanding, I replied I had been thinking of checking out at 3 or 4 PM- when I would be moving to another place. She said the latest they could generously offer was 1 PM and continued to be condescending. I was shocked she would renege on what had already been guaranteed to me. I booked a similarly priced place nearby where they allowed me to check in at 10 AM because the room was ready and it didn’t affect to them either way.

Beautiful grounds being a golf course essentially. Dog friendly. Parking right in front of the room.

they cancelled both credit card payments although i requested for just the first stay to be cancelled. they did not accepted me in the hotel

Great friendly helpful staff, particularly Gloria in housekeeping and Jessica in restaurant. Grounds are lovely.

The property is lovely and the food we had from the restaurant was great! The only real downside for me is that there wasn’t a set walking path that I could find. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place. Incredible views from the room pf the golf course.Rooms were spacious. The Cork Fire restaurant is a gem that serves some excellent food and cocktails. Golfers will love the course as well.

I like the fact you could take your dog. However, $75 for an additional fee for one small dog was absurd. I stayed in The Fairmont and the dog fee was only $50 a night. $75 is far too high.

“A nice hotel with a great golf course”

The staff were super friendly and helpful, there's lots of parking for the cars, pets are allowed and the golf courses around the hotel are beautiful. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was delicious.
