Located on the island of Langkawi, along a private beach, The Datai offers luxurious accommodation with free Wi-Fi. It boasts a golf course, well-appointed spa and swimming pool. “Perfect place to unwind in nature”
This hotel is an outstanding property nestled between a lush rainforest and pristine beach. Champagne on arrival set the tone for our entire stay, which was par excellence. Staff were exceptionally hospitable - a few honourable mentions are Abbas at front desk, Mr. Subra & Maddy at breakfast. We truly enjoyed our stay and I'm looking forward to my next trip!

This is our second The Datai experience ,the other was two decades ago.They have expanded the hotel but everything is beautiful,peaceful and so close to nature.Great service and attention to detail.

This is a truly luxury hotel and the epitome of a five star experience. Everything about your stay feels intentionally crafted and the attention to detail is second to none from the relaxed check-in experience where they let you relax with two welcome drinks, a little snack and a cold towel whilst introducing you to the venue to the incredible attentiveness of the staff throughout all interactions. The rooms, surroundings, the pools and the beach are perfect in every degree. We will 100% be back!

This is an amazing hotel. The beach is lovely, very clean and the jungle setting with the many monkeys is a really nice experience. It's very likely to see animals even if you are in the main hotel building. The food is also really good, especially the traditional Malaysian restaurant. Free mini bar and welcome drinks are great.

The Datai is beautiful throughout and the service is excellent but never intrusive or overbearing. We loved our accommodation in a rainforest villa - spacious, supremely comfortable and atmospheric. We had an exceptional à la carte meal in the main restaurant and loved the beach and beach bar. There was also a great drinks party.

“Lost for words excellent work ish I could have stayed longer!”
Everything lost for words what an experience and the staff are amazing! Like being immersed in the jungle the nature was unbelievable especially seeing the sea otters. Dusty leaf monkeys at your balcony n the morning. The breakfast was exceptional and so were the dinning restaurants.

- outstanding location between the jungle and the sea - beach is incredible as well as the main pool - very good breakfast from 7 to 11am so plenty of time - impeccable service - buggies quickly available - I personally loved the restaurant / bar at lounge level and the pond, the selection of drinks is very good - very good service at the beach bar and directly onto the beach - access to the pool and beach anytime really, I was jet lagged and had a couple of swims at dawn, incredible Overall very very good

Stunning hotel, room, grounds and surrounding area, beach etc. Particularly enjoyed a morning swim at the beach pool and walk along the beach before breakfast. Extremely warm welcome. Champagne was a real plus and the daily delights around the beach of ice-cream, fruit and cocktails as well as a regular top up of iced water were excellent. Fabulous breakfast. Thai, Malay and Beach restaurants superb. We enjoyed the latter for lunch and one evening had a beautifully cooked grouper which was outstanding. ALL the staff without exception were well trained and engaging and provided outstanding customer service. We loved the golf course and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the club. We also enjoyed seeing The wildlife and the beautiful flora and fauna.

“Amazing. Will come back.”
Amazing stay at The Datai Langkawi. We were here during low season and it was raining non stop for two days. Despite the weather, the staffs had done everything and more to ensure we had a pleasant stay. It was actually lovely listening to the showers of rain - we felt very calm and at peace.
