Exceptional stay – truly outstanding hospitality I had a wonderful stay and can honestly give five stars without hesitation. What impressed me the most was the communication. From the very first contact until the very last moment of my stay, every question was answered immediately and with genuine kindness. Even though I arrived late in the evening, everything was perfectly arranged and I felt expected and welcome. The atmosphere is not just professional – it is warm and personal. I truly felt more like a guest in someone’s home than in a hotel. There is a rare, almost family-like feeling here that makes a big difference after a long day. Thank you for the care, responsiveness, and the heartfelt hospitality. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is cozy, with many cute, old-timey objects scattered around - like a cord telephone, a beautiful gramophone, a guitar on the wall. The room was perfectly clean and cozy, the beds amazingly comfortable. But what I liked the most was the staff - very kind, competent and good at small talk. As a nice bonus, one of them was handsome ;) The hotel has a shelter, which came in handy when the alarms blared to announce an incoming missile (nothing happened, it was shot down).

Pros (:white_check_mark:) Convenient location – roughly a 10‑minute walk to Sarona Market and the SkyPath office hub; several supermarkets are just around the corner. Spacious rooftop terrace – a pleasant place to unwind or work al fresco (but see the cleanliness remarks below). Genuinely helpful staff – always ready to assist and quick to respond when issues arise. Cons (:warning:) Cleanliness issues Rooftop furniture is dusty or sandy, and the cushions appear unwashed. The in‑room kettle is crusted with limescale; the shower cabin and air‑conditioner show visible mould. Unpleasant odours – the elevator works, but the shaft smells of sewage. Maintenance gaps No insect screens on the windows, so mosquitoes and midges get inside. Heavy limescale in the shower and a very small sink make the bathroom awkward to use. The bed consists of two single mattresses that slide apart during the night. No rack or hooks for drying towels, so they stay damp. Very compact rooms – suitable only for a single guest or a very short stay. Noise – earplugs are thoughtfully provided, and you will need them: traffic and nearby construction create constant background noise. Refrigeration problems – no private fridge; the shared refrigerator smells bad and has a broken door, which makes self‑catering difficult. Air‑conditioning hygiene – the unit cools the room but hasn’t been cleaned; black mould is visible on the vents. Overall impression Domus Metro Hotel delivers a central base and welcoming staff, but housekeeping and maintenance issues overshadow the experience. It suits budget‑minded solo travellers who value location above comfort and can overlook cleanliness problems.

A small, cozy hotel, clean and comfortable. Rooms are not too big but I enjoyed my time there and nothing was missing. The staff was super friendly and happy to provide anything you needed, I will be coming back for sure. Plus the awesome rooftop terrace to chill in the sun :)

Great central location for getting around Tel Aviv and also close to the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. The private room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Awesome rooftop!
