“UNTRUSTED HOTEL”

At the reception we provided our booking with confirmation number. We were supposed to get a superior twin room with two single beds with an area of 22 sq meters from the description. As a result we received a tiny room around 9 sq meters where was only one bed that took up the entire room. We just could go around the bed, no more space in the room. No table, nothing, except of mini bar in the corner. As we were exhausted after all day driving, we didn't pay attention to the deception and substitution from the receptionist, then it was late to go to the reception again to argue, as we already brought our stuff to the room and used a shawer and a bed. The receptionist didn't speak English. The location of the hotel is very far from the city and locates in a village. It was too complicated to reach it at night by driving along unnoun rural roads without lights. It was only one normal building surrounded by old poor private houses. All night we heard barking of local dogs very close to the hotel and roosters crowing. The hotel's walls are non-soundproofing, we also heard our neighbors very well. The parking lot in front of the hotel is small enough, for 6-7 cars maximum. We want to get money back as the compensation from the hotel for their lying. When we were leaving the hotel next morning I complained to another receptionist about that situation, but he was just smiling and I'm sure, he didn't know English as well.

If you are traveling down sought and you need to stay over night, the hotel is the perfect place for one night. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The price is excellent for the offered services. Easy access to Corlu and Marmara Beach. Nice place, we enjoyed our stay there.

“I guess it's so different in summer.”

Buffet breakfast. The air-con was able to provide heat (radiators were cold) TV had some non-TRT channels! Fridge in the room. Although I did see a mini bus on the square opposite, I don't know any routes. I doubt if here was a bus from the new airport, it took nearly one and a half hours by car. Fortunately there was a petrol station on the next road.
