“Wonderful home away from home in Tejeda”

This place is a home away from home - it feels like visiting a caring, wonderful friend! Alicia's rental house is a perfect one-bed place with a double bed, single bed, well-stocked kitchenette with induction hob, drinkable water from the tap (delicious), en suite bathroom with shower, living room and a terrace. She did our laundry for us for free after the sweaty hike to get there, which was so kind. There was a heater in the room and bathroom which warmed it up because it gets cold and damp in the mountains. The house even has useful amenities like a sewing kit, dominoes and other games, trekking poles, umbrella, barbeque on the terrace, and a view of Roque Bentayga. We absolutely loved it. Thank you Alicia :)

“A wonderful home from home”

We stayed one night at this property, during January. We loved it and wish we had longer! The house immediately felt like home. It is beautifully decorated and very cosy and comfortable, with everything you need. The kitchen was well equipped, there was a spare toothbrush and other products in the bathroom, and little decorative touches like candles and blankets really made us feel at home. The property has a lovely private garden with a wonderful view of the valley. The lady who met us was very friendly and helpful. It is also in an excellent location, only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

“Perfect”

We stayed in the 2-bedroom house with a friend for a couple of nights. As we’ve been before we knew that it would be good. Alicia the owner lives nearby and she is very kind and helpful, although she doesn’t speak much English. The house is in a very convenient but quiet location in Tejeda, and you can walk to the shops, restaurants and bus station in a few minutes. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a separate kitchen and a lovely courtyard with table and chairs. It’s an old building but tastefully furnished and very comfortable, although the rooms are a bit gloomy as the windows are small. The scenery around Tejeda is fantastic and there are some great walks in the area. As you’re in the mountains the weather can be a bit unpredictable, and we were a bit unlucky as it was cool and wet. If you don’t have a car you can get to Tejeda by bus quite easily from Maspalomas and from Las Palmas (change at San Mateo) - we found the buses to be very reliable and cheap.

“Amazing stay at Tejeda with breath-taking views”

This was a jewel of an apartment. It is not big but for a family of three or a pair perfectly suited. Tejeda is very beautiful and a great place to explore the area around Roque Nublo. Our host was very friendly and helpful. If you like sweets, you have to visit the Dulcería Nublo for all kinds of treats.

“Lovely apartment with lovely hosts in lovely Tejeda”

We had a great stay with our friendly hosts Alicia and Antonio, who provided bread in the morning, and jam/cheese/water. They apartment is compact but has sufficient space and is very well equipped. There are 2 nice outdoor patios. It's it built in a traditional townhouse in lovely Tejeda and you can park at the doorstep which is very convenient.

“Stunning home away from home”

The place is a gem, ideal for exploring the island. No matter where we went during the day, we ensured that we were back in the house to experience the most magical sunsets under the lemon tree. The house has everything, including its own private stunning view of Roque Bentayga. But the best thing about the house is the ray of sunshine that is Alicia and the very helpful Antonio. When we come back to Gran Canaria, there's no point in looking for accommodation anywhere else.

Team Antonio/Alicia were extremely helpful and responsive to questions regarding arrival, parking and check-in, and were very welcoming when we arrived. Fresh bread magically appeared every morning in time for breakfast, too! Even though the property is central to Tejeda, the courtyard was great, quiet and private. Perfect for eating out and for work, reading and revision!
