“Nice accommodation in a pleasant environment with a good breakfast”

Laura is a wonderful host. She contacted us before our arrival to ask approximately what time we would be arriving, and everything was ready when we got there. Laura speaks English, which made it easy for us to ask any questions. She explained everything clearly and was happy to recommend places to visit as well as nearby spots to eat. We asked if it was possible to do some laundry, as we are long-term travelers and laundry is listed among the amenities. She kindly showed us everything we needed and even offered her own laundry detergent. Since we’ve been on the road for a long time, we usually carry all the essentials with us, but I can imagine how helpful this would be for someone visiting Honduras for a couple of weeks with muddy clothes after hiking in the cloud forests 😁

A very spacious room located in an equally large villa. Equipped with all the comforts, including a kitchen. The house is far from the city center, and I knew this, but I didn't expect that the ever-so-kind host Laura closed the distance by driving me to the Tegucigalpa bus terminal twice. I recommend everyone to book at "Casa Sur"!!

“Excellent stau”

Hidden jewel, in a secure compound. Very nicely decorated for Xmas, the lady owner was incredibly helpful to make sure we arrived safely. Room was large and comfy, clean, breakfast very tasty. One of the best stays we had over the last 6 weeks on tour.

Great location for the city airport, in a gated safe area. House was really nice, room was big with a balcony. The typical Honduran style breakfast was good. Can't fault it.

“Wonderful hotel with great free breakfast”

This family-run hotel is a great choice. The host is so friendly and speaks perfect English, very rare while we travelled 13 days in Central America. Check in is very fast and easy. The room is very clean and air-conditioning is very powerful. Free breakfast is the best, the food is delicious. Basically everything is wonderful here, this is the best hotel we stayed on our 13 days trip in Central America. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay. We parked the car in the street outside the hotel, because it is a gated community, it is very safe.

It’s in a very safe location in a nice condominium-like area. The owner was very responsive: she was clear about my arrival time and ready to help. When o struggled to find a taxi willing to take me (the address was not clear to them) she even offered to send her husband (I found a Uber). Best breakfast I’ve had in Honduras: simple but tasty.

This is the place to stay in Tegucigalpa. Super safe, super quiet and calm, Laura is amazing host. The best in centro America so far. Rooms are spacious and big, super cozy lobby. Breakfast is awesome, simply 10 rate!
