“A gorgeous and relaxing bungalow, a few steps from the beach”

A gorgeous bungalow! We had a lovely stay at Vaea’s bungalow. We spent our last 2 nights here, after staying on the other side of the island the few nights before. Vaea is extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. Her property is well-equipped, impeccably clean and is the perfect place to relax. Situated with access to the private beach, aircon in the bedroom, snorkels, reef shoes (the beach is quite sharp as you enter the water - normal for the eastern side of the island), and lots of mozzie repellant items. The property is 1km or so off the main road, down a slightly rough unpaved road. We drove our tiny hire car down and back on a number of occasions but would recommend taking it very slowly, as on the way out we got a flat tyre. Overall, would highly recommend!

Vaea was a great, helpful and friendly host. The area is quiet and lush, with a direct access to the beach.

“Moorea Magic!!!”

Ohiti Lodge is magical!! Located on a small, privately owned peninsula our stay at Bungalow Teipo was exceptional. The bungalow itself is situated about 50 meters from the beach which is secluded and sees very little foot traffic. The ocean water was crystal clear and fantastic for snorkelling. There is also a shaded area for those who, like us, are venturing from post winter climates and need a little protection from the sun but still want to enjoy the beach. We got to see sunrises from here too. The bungalow itself has been thoughtfully stocked so that you can enjoy cooking at the residence. There is great air conditioning in the bedroom, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The area outside is wonderful to enjoy relaxing and dining in the warm Moorea air. The only negative I can think of is that the road to the lodge is a little challenging. My advice would be just to take it slowly. Vaea is an excellent host! Very friendly and accommodating. Gave us lots of helpful hints about the area too. Thank you 🌸

Host was very helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location is very quiet, peaceful, relaxing and safe. Private beach has lounges, sun beds, picnic tables. Love the egg chair. Hiring a car is a must.

Nature and the sealife were superb, coupled with great hospitality made our stay a memorable one. Highly reccomended for people that appreciate these things. Ca r is a must to explore the island and prices are very reasonable.

Wowee! This place is a gem! Immaculately clean, everything you need is here to hide away from the world. It’s a slice of paradise. I’m so glad I booked here, really gorgeous place to stay. Beach access, beautiful views and everything you need to relax.

Tastefully arranged, cosy and peaceful. Direct access to the sea, a big outdoor space with garden furniture in several different areas, near the house and near the beach. Very welcoming hosts.

“Fantastic place to relax”

Large bungalow in a large garden with beach access. The pictures are very accurate. Well equipped kitchen (also salt, pepper, oil, vinegar available). Great bathroom. Outside shower. Two picnic tables, one under the roof, one on the lawn. BBQ is under that roof below the bedroom window. It has wheels so pull it out before using.

Peaceful, quiet, clean. Steps from beach. Seating at beach if you want. Nice air-conditioned bedroom with window towards ocean. Outside covered eating area. Large bathroom. We'll equipped kitchen. Host is very helpful for anything you need. If you're looking for a relaxing location, this is it. Not far from ferry. Very close to airport and golf.

We had a great week here, the bungalow is really well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed and it’s just a really nice space in general with a great outdoor area and lovely wooden finishings everywhere. The access to the private beach is great for snorkeling (and snorkels were provided too!) and it’s a great base to drive and explore other parts of the island. Vaea is a super lovely and welcoming host, she gave us some great restaurant recommendations and even did a load of washing for us too.

“Perfect stay , right on the beach”

- right of a private beach - perfect size for two people - aircon in bedroom - all cooking facilitated you would need - really nice touches like coffee and oil etc - AMAZING hosts so friendly checking in if we need anything and just so generous! - comfy bed - good location too, just 8 mins from ferry , also close to where main tours start. - close to the best public beach on the island - really affordable for Tahiti
