“Superb! Super relaxing, one of our favourite resorts in Belize hence why we keep returning.”

Beautiful resort, very relaxing and peaceful. Rooms are fantastic, super comfortable beds, bathrooms are well equipped and if you get a room with a view of the river even better. I’ve stayed 4 times in the owners suite, royal suite and twice in the king room and all are fantastic. The suites have jacuzzi baths sunk into the floor which is a lovely addition as well as a separate bathroom with bath and shower. The howler monkeys are out a few times a day across the river and the wildlife around is beautiful to see. Great food in the restaurant and a good range of drinks on the menu.

“Beautiful jungle resort with great staff”

Beautiful grounds with lots of wildlife. The room was spacious and the bed big and comfortable. Water is filtered so you can drink it (unlike in most of the country). Pool are was our favourite spot to get out. We liked having access to a kitchenette. The staff here are really amazing and truly made our stay.

“Just a heads up with the Air-con”

My only issue was that no Aircon had been put on in the room prior to our arrival, even half an hour before would have taken the heat down a little. When we arrived we were already warm but the room was like a sauna. We would have loved to chill out and enjoy our room however we could only drop our bags and leave as it was far too hot to stay. There was also pictures of hammocks on the booking advert however these were not in the room which was disappointing. All that said.. The property was beautiful, stunning grounds and felt private and peaceful. The pool was beautiful and we really enjoyed some drinks while cooling off. The two pools offers great choice for peacefulness and plenty of seating. Would definitely come back for another stay and possibly a massage next time too.

Location, serenity, staff

Fantastic staff! Everyone was so accommodating and often went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and well taken care of. The grounds overall are well maintained as this is not the peak season and it has been very hot and rain would make a world of difference. The room was clean and meals excellent at the restaurant. I would return to Dream Valley Belize again!

The food is great and the location of the main building is great too. However the rooms are in okay locations and need better maintenance and housekeeping. The shower head was broken and the locks need repairs.

This spot is absolutely STUNNING! The photos don't do it justice. Truly gorgeous grounds, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff--they are absolutely incredible and made our stay that much better.

The sunset view was spectacular, the main pool was great, excellent for swimming laps. The second pool was half empty, perhaps for insurance reasons as it was unattended. Landscaping was incredible. The room was excellent, the bathroom is amazing, and the A/C worked great. The staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful.

“A little slice of heaven!”

We loved everything about this place! It is an oasis and a little slice of heaven after 3 days in dusty San Ignacio. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful, the swimming pool is incredible, dinner was absolutely delicious, and we ate it on the veranda overlooking the Belize River. What's not to like? It was amazing. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

It was the perfect choice for our first visit to Belize. The location was convenient and within a reasonable proximity to the tours and activities that we wanted to do. The food was simply delightful and well balanced with flavor and portion sizes. The rooms are great for groups or families looking to stay close together but also has a separate area for singles and couples which provides great options for any traveler’s needs.

The location is great! You feel like you are in the jungle. The highlight was just having a drink on our private balcony with a river view listening to all the animals and birds as the sun sets. Very quiet hotel and we spent many hours by the pool with the family reading and playing board games. We are a family of five and really liked to have two adjacent River View Studios. We had our own private house with a shared balcony between the two studios. The staff were very nice and helpful in preparing day trips.

“Great stay during the hurricane”

We spent two nights during the hurricane at the hotel, we were upgraded to better / bigger room to feel more comfortable and safe. The staff was very helpful. Magical sounds of howler monkeys in the morning. Good fajita for lunch. Nice pool near the hotel restaurant
