“A perfect place to relax and explore Tuscany.”
We had a fantastic stay at Poggio Alle Lame. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by stunning Tuscan countryside, yet perfectly situated for exploring the region. The pool was amazing, with breathtaking views, and the whole property was quiet and relaxing. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we really appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. The breakfast was excellent, the room was spotless, and everything was well maintained throughout our stay. We also appreciated the covered parking area, which protects cars from the sun, and the availability of charging facilities for electric vehicles. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Tuscan experience and would happily return in the future.

“we would gladly come back”
We had a wonderful stay at Poggio Ala Lame. After several stressful weeks, we truly found peace and relaxation here. The food was excellent, and the view is simply awesome at any time of the day. One of our favorite experiences was the clear night sky—we could see so many more stars than we normally do at home in Germany. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made this a very special place, and we would gladly come back.

Beautiful property in peaceful surroundings yet with close driving distance to many towns and villages to explore. The accomodation is full of character and spotlessly clean. We had apartment 1 and the views from our private terrace were amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Delicious and good value for money dinner served onsite accompanied by excellent homemade wine from the surrounding vineyards. Would absolutely recommend and hope to return again.

The view from the pool is amazing. The owners are warm and welcoming, and they make you feel right at home. The property itself offers great value for money. Everything was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The road to the agriturismo is easily accessible and can be reached without any problems, even with a sedan. If possible, I would recommend choosing one of the larger apartments. I highly recommend this stay.

Beautiful agriturismo in the heart of Tuscany. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, wonderful Italian ambiente and amazing food! The whole place is beautiful and especially the pool overlooking the hills and vineyards is amazing. We will definitely come back here!

We had a wonderful stay at Poggio Alle Lame. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was fully equipped with everything what needed – air conditioning, a fridge, and a hairdryer. Delicious, atmospheric dinners, a good breakfast selection, and stunning views made it feel like the heart of Tuscany. The location was perfect, and the large, well-kept pool was a great bonus.

“A wonderful place to take a step back and relax but at the same time a wonderful base to visit the area.”
It was very well located between Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. Beatrice and her daughter Clizia were wonderful hosts! They even prepared the TV outside for us to watch the Euro Cup and made amazing restaurant recommendations nearby, one being Triocco which is run by Clizia’s brother Rodolfo.

“Lovely stay with 6 in a large and comfortable house, very central in Tuscany”
We rented the house and stayed with 6 people. The house is large, plenty of space and privacy. The kitchen is great for cooking dinners. The area is quiet and views from the house are stunning
