Overview
COMO Castello Del Nero is set in the Chianti wine area, between Florence and Siena, and dates back to the 12th century. It features a COMO Shambhala retreat with outdoor pool and offers free parking. The uniquely designed rooms of Castello Del Nero come with original frescoes or beamed ceilings. All feature a plasma-screen TV, air conditioning, and a bathrobe and slippers. Every part of the castle offers panoramic views across the Tuscan countryside, with vineyards and olive groves. La Torre Restaurant, a Michelin-starred restaurant, is set in what was once the castle's stable. It has an à la carte menu accompanied by a selection of local wines. La Taverna Restaurant serves Tuscan specialities. Castello Del Nero offers a shuttle service to and from Florence and Sienna, which operates according to a schedule.

“Amazing property”
Only 30min drive from Florence and 15min drive from Antinori winery. The room decor is minimalistic and the hotel gives you a Zen vibe. There is also charging spot for EV. The meal at the one star restaurant on terrace overlooking sunset was our best memory!

All the details were well taken care of. Excellent service and stuff. Amazing view and overall great place to relax, unwind and enjoy the Tuscan scenery and food in luxury (the Michelin star restaurant within the hotel was amazing)

Amazing property in a great location to see many of the villages in Tuscany. Room Sizing was great and views from the room were AMAZING. The spa services were great BUT very expensive (we travel very regularly). Staff in areas except for the reception were pretty amazing! Breakfast area - Gabrielle is one they need to keep! He is so amazing always happy to appease! Pool side - Jay was so great always preempting our requests and always happy! Day Spa - Eva is a talented masseuse! The La Torre restaurant wasn’t as great as i expected considering the high prices.

“A luxury hotel full of character in Tuscany.”
A gorgeous period building full of character but modernised to highest standards. Out room was spacious, mellow tones of grey and green, overlooking the valley. One could spend a month without getting bored. Lavender and cypres fill the ambience. Breakfast area had a gorgeous view.

The most amazing and enchanting property. We absolutely loved it our stay at Castello Del Nero. This is definitely a five star experience. The staff are incredible and their attention to their guests is quite unbelievable. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like we were staying in a guest house. The food was also amazing!

“A very expensive hotel with good food and views - but stark, charmless decor.”
Breakfast was good and location, in an orangery with a terrace, great. Absolutely stunning, uplifting views. Good dinners too. Reception staff very nice and helpful.
