“Excellent stay with very clean facilities and great staff.”

We stayed in May to visit the snow wall. We took the morning shuttle there and had the whole corridor to ourselves before the tourist buses arrived.

Fabulous location, we hired snow shoes and walked up to a ridge with amazing views. The lodge is immaculately clean, rooms were good size, bathroom facilities all good. The staff were lovely. The food was fantastic, probably the best of our trip.

Location, with sbow out the window, was magical. Staff were lovely and warm, giving a very homely vibe. One of my children suffered a little from the altitude and the staff were all over it, providing advice and treatment. Both dinner and breakfast were a lovely surprise, high quality and very tasty!

Beautiful scenery and nearness to Murodo station

Very warm-hearted place! Staff is very helpful and the dinner as well as the breakfast are large and very good. I recommend trying the chai tea, it will warm you after a cool day outside! There are only showers, no onsen-style bath, but everything is clean and well kept. Further, the view from here on the valley and the mountains is breathtaking and they offer a free shuttle service to Murodo in the morning.

It is really wonderful lodge for Murodo and Oyama hiking. Location is very good and the meals are very tasty. The staffs are very kind and helpful. impressed!

Excellent location - lots of hiking spots nearby and beautiful outlook to the mountains. Short bus ride to Murodo or an easy 2km walk. Staff were very friendly and breakfast and dinner was delicious.

“Much more than expected”

Super nice staff!! The facilities, the food, the beds, the room - all was much more than expected!! A real special experience especially in such a good weather as we had. Don't miss the drinks and cake with the movie after dinner!! In short - much much more than a hut in the mountains. If possible, try to stay there before you go hiking as the staff will be happy to provide usuful tips

Good location for hiking, free shuttle bus to Murodo early in the morning. Good food, Friendly staff, clean. Small and cozy.

The staff is so kind and accommodating. The lodge is very cozy and comfortable. The food was delicious, both breakfast and dinner! I've visited three times, in spring, summer, and fall and every time was fantastic! Highly recommend

We were able to check-in to our room early. Everyone went out of there way to help us. They had english menu which was very helpful. The dinner was delicious. The hotel offered morning exercise routine before breakfast. As it was clouded over, we couldn't experience the sunset but last time we went the sunset was magnificent. The beds were comfortable.

Very friendly and clean mountain lodge at an altitude of 2300m in the middle of the Tateyama mountain range. We had a very scenic walk from Murodo to the lodge for about an hour. Highly recommend!

“Well fed with a good night rest in a beautiful location!”

Facilities were clean and adequate. Rooms were comfy; we booked a room for 6 with futon beds and had such a good night sleep. The best part of the hotel is not just the scenery outside the building but the food. The dinner and breakfast were so amazing and delicious!!! At night you could watch the stars outside the building and it was so mesmerizing. The staff were super friendly and kind, always ready to help. It was such a good stay we wish we had more days.

“A gem in the mountains, wonderful food!”

What a gem of a mountain hut! For us it was the perfect base for hiking Mt Tateyama. Dinner and breakfast were included and delicious. Comfortable room, absolutely lovely staff who made sure we had rain gear when a cold front was forecast. 100% recommend and we would love to go back!
