This hotel is perfectly located，making it an ideal base for exploring both Murodo and Midagahara at a relaxed pace while avoiding the busiest crowds. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and the food was very enjoyable Watching the evening sunlight pour through the windows while enjoying dinner surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery was an unforgettable experience.

Clean and big room facing the mountain and sky. I cluld do star gazing when sky finally got clear. 6. There is a bus stop right in front of Hotel brings us to the Tateyama Alpine Route so easily.

Good place to break journey for a more relaxing trip along the alpine route.

“A delightful stay in Midagahara”

Facility is located in a beautiful place; room was spacious and clean and staff were very helpful. We particularly enjoyed the hotel organised walk on the board walk (weather in early Oct was misty and calm) and the dinner which featured local delights and a drinks buffet.

The rooms are $700 a night for what many would consider a basic 3 star hotel. This was an absolute rip off.

The hotel is old but generally well maintained. Great location in Midagahara. Staff are friendly and helpful!

“Unique experience in Spring time with all of the snow...”

Amazing location. The view of the outside from the rooms is amazing - all you can see (at this time of the year) is snow and the mountains. Kaiseki dinner with unlimited drinks (good variety) was good - and they catered to vegetarians too. Nice public bath - with again the same unique view of the snow capped sorroundings. The room itself was spacious and could easily have taken 3 people.

“An awesome stay at an awesome location!”

We love the location of the hotel with the Midagahara Wetland hiking trial just behind. The sunset scene from our room is awesome. It is also a quiet respite after a hectic and crowded time at Murodo. Moreover, the staff are friendly and helpful and we enjoy both the service and the dinner very much.

Very cozy and warm. Staffs are very helpful. The milky way at night was sooo amazing! There are walking path outside the hotel to explore the area. Dinner and breakfast are great!

As known, the alpine route can be done in one day. But this hotel is an excellent option for those who want to do things in a more relaxed way and stay the night in the mountains. The hotel has a simple-looking but nice attitude bathhouse. Dinner was excellent! The waiters and reception staff were simply wonderful and patient and gave us excellent service

“Wonderful views, exceptional food and staff”

Had a comfortable stay with great views of the mountains and the jap style dinner with free flow alchohol, very fresh sashimi and good quality beef was exceptional! The staff were very friendly and warm. Special compliments to front desk staff (Moe) for her kindness in helping us throughout our stay whenever we faced difficulties, making recommendations for our itinerary and going the extra mile. One of the most genuine and friendly staff we have encountered!

It has a great location on mt tateyama/ midagahara which is good for travelling around the alpine route with different scenes, panoramic sunset, starry night and snowy backyard for a short walk. Dinner is wonderful and staff are helpful and thoughtful.

Fantastic location. Lovely nature and superb hospitality. We enjoyed it thoroughly. On request, they had offered vegetarian meal and it was excellent. Our special thanks to the chef and his team. We will surely come back for a longer stay.
