Overview
Offering free on-site parking, Matterhorn Inn is located right across from Täsch Train Station and the Matterhorn Terminal, which provides a 24-hour shuttle service to Zermatt. Guests can also visit the cocktail bar and use the wellness and fitness facilities which include a sauna. All rooms feature free WiFi, a TV, coffee and tea making facilities, and a bathroom with a shower or bath. Most have a balcony. The Alpenhotel features a restaurant serving Swiss and Italian specialities. A buffet breakfast is offered every morning. In winter, there are 20 km of cross-country ski runs between Täsch and Randa, and in summer you can find 460 km of hiking trails around Täsch and Zermatt.

They upgraded my stay to the Porta cervino hotel. The room was really nice and clean, but the view was the best part.

We received a complimentary upgrade to the nearby Hotel Porta Cervino which is part of the same group. The room and facilities were high quality and we very pleased with the accommodation and experience. Also to note, the hotel is close to the railway station, so it is very easy to travel to Zermatt, trains are frequent and it only takes a few mins.

“Incredible stay - attention to detail is immaculate”
Beds were comfy, view was amazing, lovely modern bathroom, loved the coffee machine. Breakfast was incredible, everything has been thought off. The free access to spa and gym was a lovely extra especially as celebrating a birthday

We DID NOT stay in the Matterhorn inn We got a told on arrival we had been moved to another hotel down the road so we loaded up cases and drove there no bath no south facing balcony I had paid for please send refund

“Porta Cervino not Matterhorn !”
Well, it is difficult to to give a review on the Matterhorn, as they changed my booking to another hotel 150 metres away just a day before I arrived! That said, the Porta Cervino, was wonderful. All of the ratings I gave, pertain to the Porta Cervino. Welcoming staff, good and regular room service etc. New hotel, room was excellent.

Wonderful and comfortable stay, balcony, spa facilities an extra perk. Little Easter touches left in room. Amazing location for Täsch station, could not be closer. Amazing stay!

“Good hotel to explore the area”
Hotel is located across Taesch train station, they also have their own parking for extra cost of course. Room was very clean, spa is also a good addition and we also tried their breakfast, they have a good variety of food and good coffee. Staff was very friendly and the room, bed was very quiet and comfortable. There are also supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so location is perfect.

Loved the hotel - from the location - across from the train station, to the proximity to Zermatt and the cost to the SPA and the cleanness.
