“Does Everything it Says on the Tin - at Short Notice”
Friendly proprietor. Value for money. Decent shower. Fridge. Lots of power sockets. Availability at short notice - I'd inadvertently booked a place in Tarrafal on a completely different island.

“REALLY NICE PLACE”
Central position, really nice and big apartament. The view is also super nice. Two bathrooms and 2 rooms, it’s not clear at the beggining that you have to go from the balcony to go from the living room to the rooms. The owner is Italian.

“With a great view of the mountains.”
The room or rooms ( there was one room divided into two parts, one was a kitchen and dining room) were really spacious, the bed was comfortable, I had hot water, and a view from the balcony overlooking part of Tarrafal and the mountains. The place was quiet, so I could relax and chill out. At night, I could observe local nightlife here; it was nice and so different from what I have at home. Plus, I saw many cats running and fighting, which, as a cat lover, I didn't mind. If I come here again, I will definitely stay in Zena Star.

“Great little apartment, close to the ferry”
Nice studio with a balcony. Well made with bench seats and kitchen cupboards. Liked the street vibe and handy to have access to WiFi.

Der owner of the guesthouse is a very friendly italian guy. He have a eye for beautiness can care the house and place very well. I saw the other places on the island and believe this is by far the best one!

“It was OK, but we wouldn't go back.”
It's in a good location. Close to the centre of town. Good balcony with a view of the sea and plenty of people watching opportunities. I felt that we got to know what the town is like and how people live.
