Overview
Villa Hotel Valle del Marta Resort is set just out of Tarquinia's historic centre, in the River Marta Valley. The gardens have a pool and great views. Villa Valle del Marta overlooks Tarquinia's old city walls and fields which lead down to the sea. It is surrounded by vineyards and liquors are made on site. Free bikes are available at the Valle del Marta Resort. Buses stop right outside the gate. There is also a beauty farm and wellness centre with sauna and hot tub. Some rooms have a spa bath. Hotel Valle del Marta has a TV room and games are provided. The restaurant is only open for lunch and dinner served in the room, with fixed or à la carte menu, by requesting it in advance. Alternatively, you can enjoy your dinner in one of the historic center restaurants taking advantage of our free shuttle service from the Hotel to Barriera San Giusto in Tarquinia (until 10.30 pm).

“Nice hotel with a beautiful garden”
This hotel is outside the town and easy to arrive with a car. The garden and pool looked great, we just didn't have time to enjoy of those. Breakfast was good.

Lovely location with pool and garden outside the town of Tarquinia. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely sitting by the pool in the evening and enjoying drinks from the bar. We enjoyed walking into the old town of Tarquinia and then visiting the necropolis with the many painted Etruscan tombs just outside - the reason we chose this town for a visit.

“A lovely area”
The room was clean and warm, but we did have ants. The spa area was very good and we had it to ourselves.

The air conditioning was not working properly. The restaurant wasn't open the night we were there. We weren't aware it wasn't open and the owner of the restaurant in the town centre kindly drove us home as the walk home was very dark and treacherous with no footpaths.

we booked the hotel on line through booking .com. we booked late afternoon and there was a train strike. I cancelled through hotel about 2 hours later and the hotel would not give us any refund and charged us the full amount. Not happy with booking .com and hotel . both booking .com and hotel showed no compassion We will not use either again.

“Peaceful, serene and beautiful stay.”
It was so beautiful.. The Spa Treatments were amazing and Rita was excellent.i loved the breakfast and the peace and solitude. I travel for work all year round and it was terrific to unplug in such beautiful surroundings with such lovely people.
