“Like being in a fairytale!”

What a great discovery! The garden in the centre of the riad is so beautiful, we've enjoyed breakfast and dinner with birds singing and flying all around us. It felt like being in a fairytale. The overall design of the place is so chic too. We took the private apartment room and it was stunning! Spacious, comfy and full of light!

What a beautiful place to spend a couple of nights. Our room was lovely, and the staff were so friendly. The airy, plant filled dining area had a very relaxed atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious.

We were made to feel very welcome, from the complementary mint tea upon arrival to arranging our departure transport, every interaction was warm and helpful. Sana, the Manager is kind and efficient, Hennen gave an incredible massage and the dinner was outstanding. The decor is suburb - tasteful, with several spots to relax within an oasis of green.

The Dar was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious, both breakfast and dinner. We treated ourselves to an Argan Oil massage at the hotel which made it even better.

Dar Zahia is an oasis in a bustling city. The only noise was that of the birds coming home to roost in the evenings and leaving in the mornings. The food (breakfast and dinner) prepared by Fatima was of a very high standard. Sana, the manager, gave us all the information we needed for day trips etc and was always on hand. She was an excellent host. We had an amazing stay.

“Stunning riad beautifully converted with a great eye for design”

Really beautiful riad with lovely courtyards, plants, alcoves, artworks etc. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Rooms had lots of character and were very comfortable.

Dar Zahia is a beautiful place - an oasis in the charming chaos of Taroudant - its garden and plunge pool were a delight after a long hot day - and Sana and her team were perfect hosts. Highly recommended!

The DarZahia was perfectly placed for exploring Taroudant on foot and provided a quiet haven, especially on their top floor terrace, to relax in away from the normal business of a Moroccan City. Dar Zahia is beautifully done up, and the rooms, whilst fairly small, had everything you needed for your stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were wonderful and helpful.

Beautiful riad with pleasant staff and wonderfully decorated rooms. The rooftop terrace and garden proved a nice break from the bustle from the city. Def recommend when you visit Taroudannt.

Dar Zahia is incredible! A thoughtfully designed and lovingly maintained oasis in the Medina. It was one of the best places we stayed over 3 weeks in Morocco. The staff Sana and Fatima were so warm and helpful. We ate at Dar Zahia both nights of our stay and the food was superb. The room had the most lovely outlook into the central courtyard garden and was so beautifully designed. Highly recommend!

The place is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The host also provides several excellent recommendations for activities both in the city and nearby.

“Love at first sight”

One of our most memorable stays in Morocco, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The owners were uniquely kind and attentive, it almost felt as if we were staying with family. The diners we have had were really amazing and the overal styling and atmosphere of the rooms (and property in general) is fabulous. We highly recommend it!

If you are looking for something stylish, the kind of house that features in architectural and design reviews, this is it! It is a renovated riad which respects the local tradition and has sophisticated modern touches. Few can pull this off in style. This is a previous holiday home for the owners who happened to be there when we visited. We ate dinner at the same table and felt very welcome, the food was delicious. The hosts and staff are most gracious. We also got one of our rooms upgraded which was appreciated. There is not much to do in Taroudant itself but you wouldn't go wrong by planning your itinerary around this stylish stopover.

This Riad is beautifully decorated, full of charm and character. We were truly impressed by how tastefully designed it is. The room was spacious, well-decorated, and everything met our expectations. The hosts were delightful, offering us the best tea and engaging in warm, genuine conversations while also giving us useful tips about the area. Although we visited Taroudant as more of a transit stop rather than a destination, staying at this Riad made it feel special and worth the visit. There's private parking just a 3-minute walk from the Riad, which is clearly marked from the street, making it very convenient. While I haven't stayed at other accommodations in the area, I’ve visited many during my travels in Morocco, and I can confidently say that this Riad is among the best, competing with places that charge much higher prices.
