“Too expensive for what it was. It does not reserve to be classified as a 4 stars hotel.”
Not much. The hotel is very old and run down. It was not very clean. Specially the bathroom. The room was very noicy. With loud music on since 7 am or earlier, coming from the fitness of the hotel located in a building in front of the rooms. The same loud music was on until 23 hrs. The pool was opened to outside people, so there were funny people with very little education using the pool. It felt as being in a public pool of a low class neighborhood. The breakfast was not continental at all. Very little choice of bread. There was hardly any fresh bread. There was mainly soft bread. Even the jam was not fresh made one. It was in sachets. I travelled a lot but never saw such a thing. The fruits offered was good. The only thing. The staff was kind as well.

The people - super easy to communicate with. Shirley texted us beforehand by Whatsapp to see if we needed anything, which we did (airport transport, storage for friends). Then Luis at the front desk helped us coordinate leaving our bags while we went camping for a few days.

Good location near attractions and restaurants. Availability of Spa and health facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful garden and outdoor pool ( however, despite advertisement it was NOT heated). Gave us long extended checkout hours for a very reasonable charge.

Excellent experience- hotel staff beyond kind and helpful, they treat you as family. Especially loved the new spa/steam room/ dry sauna complex. Great location just minutes away from the center. Highly recommend.
