Overview
The Moorish-style Hurricane Hotel faces onto the beach in Tarifa, southern Andalucia. It offers views of the Straits of Gibraltar, 2 swimming pools and a restaurant. All rooms in the Hurricane Hotel have air conditioning and central heating, as well as a minibar and safe. Some rooms have sea views. The hotel has a gym and sauna, and also arranges yoga classes and massage. It also has its own stables, and horses can be hired to explore the surrounding area. The Hurricane’s restaurant uses produce from its own garden, homemade pasta and local fish and seafood. It also offers charcoal-grilled meats. In front of the hotel is a spot for surfers, as well as a surf school. Just 2 km away is Valdevaqueros Beach. The hotel is just off the N-340 road.

The Hurricane Hotel was everything that we remembered it to be from our last visit twenty years ago - which was very important to us. The relaxed traditional, ambience of the hotel and its facilities were just perfect - thank you.

“Hurricane Happy !”
Check in was great and they kindly up-graded our room which was a great start to our stay. The weather wasn't great for sightseeing so we stayed in the hotel for a delicious Salad Bar lunch overlooking the sea. The room was spacious, clean & pleasing decoration. Everything you needed was there, Safe, Mini Bar, TV, Kettle, Hairdryer, ample wardrobe space and overhead fan, Aircon & Heating for all situations! Dinner was fabulous with excellent choices on the menu. Buffet style breakfast was also superb with addition of cooked eggs if desired. Overall our experience at the Hotel was wonderful and I will definitely be going back,

“perfect beachy stay”
beautiful hotel on the beach with clean spacious rooms, helpful staff and great facilities. loved the beach bar - food and service was a 10/10 and they looked after a big group of us all afternoon at short notice which was much appreciated! bed super comfy, reception / bar area was a great place to relax with a coffee or a glass of wine, breakfast was also fantastic.

“Beautiful location”
we chose this hotel for its location, it allows pets, and previous reviews. near to the beach and on our route to Cadiz. The grounds are simply beautiful, it has a real colonial feel to it, with gardens and birdlife which is really impressive. the spa, yoga and pool were also a bonus. We paid extra for a garden view room which was to high standard with a very comfortable large bed, smart tv, kettle and cups and a fridge provided. The beach bar buffet lunch is excellent value, with stunning views overlooking the coast of Morocco.

“Exceptional hotel”
The hotel and grounds are so beautiful. I felt I was on a movie set with the tables all set for dinner on the terrace and down to the pool surrounded by palm trees. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The food in both the main restaurant and chiringuito was excellent. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We will be back!
