Overview
This guest house is located in the historic old town in the centre of Tarifa and is an ideal base from which to visit this wind surf capital and its surrounding areas. Hostal La Calzada's rooms are simple and cosy and the establishment is perfectly located only a few minutes from the port and the beach. It is also near the nightlife and traditional tapas bar route. For surfers, there are numerous specialist cloth and equipment shops in the town. On the outskirts of the town there are spectacular landscapes such as the Roman ruins of Bolonia. The guest house organises excursions to these ruins, as well as to Morocco and Guzmán Castle. You can also go whale watching.

“Restful and interesting stay inside the walls of old Tarifa”
Beautiful little hostal tucked away down a side alley right beside the Church of San Mateo. Friendly staff who're keen to help and available 24 hours. The room was nicely furnished with good facilities.

“Perfect for a short-stay right in the heart of Tarifa”
Perfectly positioned right in the heart of Tarfia along a narrow alley beside the Sanata Mateo church. Wonderful, warm and welcoming staff. There is no lift but the rooms are neat, bright and very clean. Perfect for a one or two-night stay. The staff allow you to leave your luggage if you have a late departure.
