“A really special place”

This is a really special place. The welcoming atmosphere, the staff, the location, the classes on the terrace, the cleanliness, it all just contributes to a really pleasant stay. This isn't a fancy hotel and I am glad it isn't because it has character. You could not fault the accommodation though. It is comfortable and clean and has simple nice touches to make your stay pleasant. The owner was very helpful, and the cleaning staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and were so friendly. It was lovely to frequently see their friendly faces saying hello on the way in/out! I stayed in the apartment with my son for 10 nights. The price was reasonable and we really enjoyed our stay. The Old Town in Tarifa is really beautiful and it does come alive at night. This is a quieter location within the Old Town but there is often noise from the nightlife, but it definitely didn't stop me sleeping and I normally find it difficult to sleep with noise, so that was good.

a cute little boutique hotel with basic amenities (fans ,no A/C but basically not needed in Tarifa ) great location in the old city, away from the old town's main street hustle and bustle. BUT : be sure you are in rooms 2 till 7! The other rooms are substandard with either no window or intra muros view/high window, basic showers... You can get a basic but good enough breakfast with coffee and choice of teas. Water - cold-hot - available. Wonderful and very helpful cleaning staff!

Location was perfect. Room was comfortable and cool in the heat. It was near the communal area but ear plugs were thoughtfully provided to counteract that potential disturbance. A lovely place and a well run business.
