Just 100 metres from Tarifa’s main beach, Hospedaje Villanueva features a communal sun terrace with sea views. Located on the edge of Tarifa’s old town, it is surrounded by cafés, bars and restaurants. Each simple room at Hospedaje Villanueva has heating, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms offer views of the sea and the Moroccan coast. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Many kite surfing, windsurfing and surfing schools can be found nearby. Ferries to Morocco leave from the port, a 3-minute walk away. Guzman Castle is 100 metres from the guest house. Tarifa Bus Station is a 5-minute walk away.

“All you need”
Not been to Tarifa since 2020 and prior to that always stayed here. It’s not changed still very clean & simple. Excellent value, short walk from ferry and town. Fantastic rain shower - looked new

Simple and modest hotel in the center. No "extra" conveniences but the rooms were clean and had everything that we needed. There were lots of cafes and bars in the neighbourhood where you can get breakfast etc.

“A clean, comfortable room with a great view.”
I had a great stay in Hospedaje Villanueva. The hotel is perfectly situated, just next to the old town. The room has modern facilites and was clean and comfortable. Best of all was the fantastic view from the balcony, looking out over the old town, down to the Straits of Gibraltar and to Africa beyond.

“Very good location, a clean place”
Very good location. The beach is very close, just few minutes walk from the accommodation, including Punta de Tarifa (the place where Atlantic meets Mediterranean sea ). Some groceries stores and restaurant around the location also and the touristic port ( the link to Tangier) is few minutes walk. -p.s. If you arrive from Malaga using the bus (Malaga city bus station not the airport ! ) make sure you arrive to Algeciras before 9.00 p.m. otherwise you'll miss the last bus to Tarifa or use a taxi located outside the Algeciras bus station ( around 35-40 euros).

This accommodation is in a brilliant position, right on the edge of the old town, and very close to the ferry port. The room was huge, and the bed very comfortable
