Overview
Located on the old town of Tarifa, 100 metres from Puerta de Jerez, Darcilla Guest House boasts heated and airconditioned apartments with free Wi-Fi. Set around a central courtyard decorated in symmetrical pattern, each apartment boasts a Moroccan décor. Apartments have all a lounge area with sofas, fireplace and iPod docking station and a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee machine. Some apartments have a private patio and a kitchen with dishwasher. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets in the surrounding area and you can find many nice bars and restaurants serving all kind of food and cocktails at Plaza de Los Lances, 700 metres away. Darcilla Guest House is 10 minutes’ walk from Tarifa Harbour, connected to Tangier in 35 minutes by boat. The city is famous for water sports such as windsurfing, surfski and kitesurf. The closest airport is Gibraltar Airport, 45 km away.

THE PROPERTY DID NOT SERVE BREAKFAST AND WE WERE NOT EXPECTING IT EITHER. A VERY CHARMING PROPERTY WHERE THE ROOMS HAD EVERYTHING ONE WOULD NEED DURING THE STAY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - IT IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN TARIFA.

This guesthouse is an experience itself. Wonderfully located in the centre of Tarifa but super quiet at the same time. The terrace is a gem, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. A place you instantly know you will want to come back.

Barry was a first class host, provided local information on beaches restaurants and parking. The apartment was spacious clean and comfortable. Bedroom ,large sitting room well equipped kitchen.The rooftop terrace with terrific views an additional bonus.Best place we we stayed on this trip.

“Perfect!!!”
I have traveled a lot! but this was one of the best experience. Great owner with charming charisma. Perfect view from the terrace and great location! I needed to go to the hospital and the host urgently took me to the hospital and talked everything through. ☺️ Thank you Barry!!!

“Relaxing mini break in a lovely stylish apartment.”
The host, Barry, could not have been more welcoming. He made excellent contact to arrange meeting up for the keys. He took our cases, showed us our room and also the roof terrace and other areas that we should know about. He told us a little bit about the long term guests and made us feel part of their community. The rooms are beautiful, with stylish and quirky features. The beds are extremely comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and the hosts are only 5 mins away if you need anything. He gave us recommendations for local restaurants and booked a table for us. Very good service and communication throughout our stay.

“Wonderful and well located apartment with amazing terrace!”
Barry the host was wonderful, very helpful dropping off keys, showing us around the property (which included an amazing huge shared roof terrace), and giving us recommendations for activities. He also remained attentive throughout our stay, on hand to assist as needed.

Loft (2-5 Adults
Large, spacious (140 m2) luxury 'loft style' apartment with high ceilings, black beams and with a view 'to die for'! Rebuilt and newly furnished to a high standard (minimalist; modern; designer chairs; i-pod). Electric heating, air-conditioning in both bedrooms, panels and towel rails for the winter. The large silver Moroccan lamps throw fascinating patterns onto all the white walls in the evenings. The kitchen opens on to your own large, private terrace. Main bedroom has a double bed, in the second bedroom beds can be made up as one double or 2 singles and the third bedroom has a single bed.
Two-Bedroom Apartment (3-5 Adults)
Featuring a private patio and sun terrace, this heated apartment comes with 1 double and a twin bedroom with single beds which can be joined together. There is a large living-dining room with sofa, fireplace, satellite TV and iPod docking station. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine and iron facilities are also provided.
Apartment (2 Adults)
This air-conditioned superior apartment comes with twin beds which can be made up as a double. (Please note your preferences). A bathroom with a bath/shower. Offering a well equipped kitchen including a Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and fridge. There is a wood fireplace in the living room. The apartment overlooks the central patio and has access to a shared rooftop terrace with city views.
Deluxe Studio
A charming two-person air-conditioned studio with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a living space with a sofa bed and a well-equipped kitchen , including a Nespresso coffee machine. The sofa-bed can be used for a third person travelling at a surcharge. The studio/ apartment overlooks the central patio and has access to a shared rooftop terrace with city view.
One-Bedroom Apartment (1 - 2 Adults)
These spacious air-conditioned apartments come with a small well-equipped kitchens, including a Nespresso coffee machine. The apartments are located on the ground floor and offer access to the central courtyard and shared roof-top terrace. They all have a separate bedroom, a living room, a bathroom with a shower and free wifi. Twins or a double bed is subject to availability. Please note your preferences.
Studio - Disability Access
Adapted for guests with reduced mobility, this air-conditioned studio has double glazing, a mini kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine and free WiFi. The bathroom has a large shower. It is located at the front of our building. This studio has access to a shared rooftop terrace with city views. Extra beds cannot be added to this studio.

One-Bedroom Apartment (1 Adult)
This air-conditioned room has a single bed and a separate shower room. There is a toaster, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and electric kettle available. Free WiFi is provided.
