Everything about our stay here was incredible. Spacious, clean, very comfy bed. Exquisite ocean view from bed and shower, and even though you had neighbours we felt it was still very private. Location was great for Carara national park and for the River Tarcoles. Very clean, staff set up our towels into swans. Lots of birds viewed from the property including trogons and raptors.

We stayed in Suite 1 for a 2 night stay 1.5hrs from San Jose - Spacious accommodation, 2 big comfortable beds. Fantastic views across the sea. Plunge pool 26c water temperature. Great communications and helpful advice. Taxi to restaurants 5,000 colones, 10$ each way. Tiko Restaurant Mirador 10 mins, has fantastic sunset views (pictured) wildlife and good food. La Oursa also recommended by owners was also good.

We stayed 2 nights at Unit #1 and had a great relaxing stay after a long drive from Corcovado. Unit #1 is the most private, and Laura was super welcoming with excellent communication. The space was sparkling clean, and the small kitchen was a plus. The sleeping space was ample, and the bathroom/shower, open to nature, was a real treat. The location is great, close to beaches and the national park. The only drawback is the noise from heavy trucks on Rt 1 when sitting outside, but luckily, they don't drive much at night, and the room was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling and staying in this part of Costa Rica.

The place is surrounded by nature! It’s is very calming, beautiful and charging. Each morning we were visited by an iguana on the terrace! The sunsets were stunning.

Ac did not work. Had problems with the tv and there was no one on site to help. The one young lady working there was very nice but spoke no English. Also got invaded by ants.

we didn´t stay there since after booking the location we found out that there is no reception in the location which was not mentioned on the booking.com website. we asked to cancel and get a refund to booking.com and later to the owner but that was denied.

“Tarcoles area shouldn’t be missed, and would highly recommend this suite during your trip!”

We were in two minds about staying a night in Tarcoles, but I’m glad we did as there is plenty to see in the area. The suite is perfect for 1-2 nights, and certainly looked like the best option to stay in the area. We also saw plenty of wildlife from our room which is always a bonus. Laura was a very responsive host and even let us check-in earlier than what was originally planned.

Amazing experience!! Super comfortable suite all equipped in a secluded area, everything has being well thought out and it's like being inside a small zoo, from our deck we got to see different birds, fireflies in the night.
