“Comfortable and spotlessly clean”

Located on the edge of central Taraz, Inju is a good value for money hotel that appears to be undergoing some refurbishment and renovation. The main part of the hotel is not affected or inconvenienced by this. My room was spotlessly clean, with simple, crisp decor and included a desk, fridge with minibar and electric kettle. Air conditioning worked well when needed, opening window provide good ventilation at night. It’s about ten - fifteen minutes’ walk to multiple restaurants and the main shopping and historical areas. Reception was not effusive but still efficient. Good wifi.

“No stay, false booking”

Breakfast was served to the table, with a choice of eggs or porridge, and came with bread etc. The breakfast room is quite grand and the service was quick and efficient even when there was a large tour group there. The room was large enough for a single and fairly quiet considering a main road runs along the front. It was only a 20-25 mins walk from the main shopping mall and archaeological park, with some nice cafes 5 minutes away. The room offered a mini-bar. One staff member was particularly helpful with booking on-travel; it's important to have Google translate available as few people speak English.

The hotel was good and the staff flexible. Good location, and generally nice hotel, with A/C also.

“Nice hotel in the city center. Amazing value for money.”

An amazing value for money. Located right in the city center, a very basic and nice hotel, for a very reasonable cost. Staff was nice and efficient (rare for Kazakhstan), rooms are nice, feel renovated, clean. Everything here was very nice. Breakfast was brought to the room (no dining room - I assume it is due to Covid regulations). It was rather basic, and the cuisine was "Russian style" (which is to be expected in this part of the world). Non the less - everything tested well, and it was much more than enough for a person to stay full until lunch. All in all this is a very nice hotel in the city center, and I recommend it very much. Will be back for sure.

Location of the hotel is great, i.e. it is right at the city centre, although taxi drivers may find it difficult to locate the place.
