Good location close to town but a bit away from the street noise, comfortable bed, good AC, friendly staff. Really appreciated help with airport pick up, and they were always really happy to help me with change for taxis.

In the morning, toucans tapped on our bedroom window and hummingbirds hovered in the nearby trees. Sadly, we were in the wrong season to see capuchin monkeys. Breakfast was served in the garden, where we were surrounded by plants and birds. Ours was a last minute booking and I'd mistakenly entered the following evening's date. But it wasn't a problem, and everything was smoothed out very quickly. I'd definitely go back.

The owners of the place are absolutely amazing, very friendly, caring and attentive. They helped with anything I needed. The room was super clean and the location is 10 minutes walk from a street with the main restaurants. I would definitely go back next time I am in Tarapoto!

This is a great hotel for a great price. I was given a better room than the one I booked. It was air-conditioned and the beds were very comfortable. WiFi was excellent. And the breakfast was terrific. The staff were very nice. I like the location--within walking distance of some great restaurants. The area is safe. Just an FYI: breakfast does not always start at the time they say it will. This is very common in Peru, though. So, just be patient. When I arrived by collectivo from Chachapoya, none of the mototaxi drivers knew where my hotel was. A local had to help me contact the hotel to get information on how to get to it.

Beautiful courtyard and comfortable accommodations. Lots of unique artistic touches. Breakfast included was great. Nice quiet location in otherwise noisy Tarapoto. And the hosts are amazingly welcoming.

Green House is a beautiful relaxing place - lovely rooms set within a gorgeous garden. It is so much nicer than other more expensive places in Tarapoto and Jorge and Selmita are so welcoming and kind. And if you're lucky like I was you might even see toucans just outside your bedroom window. I've stayed in several other more expensive places in Tarapoto but my next stay will definitely be at Green House.

“No place like home”

This place really feels like home. Simple but comfortable, Jorge and Selmita really make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Free and easy airport pickup is such a nice way to start the experience and from there they are there to help with anything you need throughout the stay. Breakfast again is simple but exactly what you need, and lovely to take it in the lush internal courtyard. There might be more fancy places in Tarapoto but this is the one that always feels safe and comfortable for me. A great please before and after medicine retreats too, they really get the vibe.

Green House Tarapoto is so welcoming and such a lovely place to stay. The owners are so nice and will help you with anything. Such a lovely people, the fact I don’t speak Spanish wasn’t a problem as we communicated well through google translate. Room was so big and super clean. Breakfast served with delicious coffee and fresh juice. Wifi in the room was good and allowed me to do some work. Honestly, if ever again in my life was to come back here the green house will be the place to stay. They have this mantra written with the logo- my home is your home. The best way to describe how I felt staying at Green House Tarapoto. It is a walkable distance to the center and I felt super safe. All the people I met here were so lovely and helpful.

The beds where firm excellent for my back and because it was family owned I felt like part of the family. It was wonderful, especially the quiet street with a raw coconut, exotic fruit vender near by and it was a very short walk to the centre.
