Very friendly owners, they went out of their way to help and provide relevant information. Family residence feel. Quiet street, this is essential as in downtown Tarapoto "good luck resting/sleeping" because too much noise from mototaxis. No noise at Custodia. You need yoghurt? a wine ? anything else? Two blocks away (4 min walk) there is the largest supermarket of Tarapoto open till very late. Custodia kindly invites you to use kitchen utensils, the fridge, filtered water : we felt at home and we will be back. Thank you "Custodia". As a reference for mototaxis, cite "a la espalda de Urbanizacion Fonavi", or also, "cruce Morales con Avenida Lima". Enjoy!!

“A perfect stay, especially if you like bigger rooms!”

Cecilia and her husband was extremely helpful and kind. I had foodintolerance, they were actively support me while they created my breakfast. They ordered me taxi, explain everything that I asked. The place itself is 20 minutes from the city center, but there is shopping mall only 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Tarapoto is a relatively big city here, everyone is using motorcycle, there is active night life, so a bit noisy, but compering to a “real” city, i dod not find it annoying. The apartment is better than on the photos, spacious, very clean, with comfortable bed, netflix, air conditioning, and good wifi. I was able to work from here. The “lobby” is super charming, i just wanted to smile whenever I walked through on it. Be prepared, that there is no hot water, only cold in the shower, but for me it was not negative. I enjoyed. The breakfast is huge, Cecilia prepared for me. It was super delicious. Overall I would recommend this apartment for everyone.

It was clean, very good mattress, great and very helpful service. The room is comfortable and has mini fridge in it that helps a lot to keep drinks cool. Very good location.

Beautiful property, run by a family yet very professionally. Top ratings for cleanliness, the AC in the room is a great relief, the lady of the house, the host is very warm & helping, there’re lots of examples of local arts & artefacts, lovely plants. Good breakfast made as per my requirement — lovely experience! If I ever were to pass by Tarapoto, this would be my place to stay at

very beautiful and quiet place. I was glad that I stopped here before my trip. The city center is easily accessible by motorbike or on foot in 20 minutes. I recommend this hotel.

The accommodation is very pleasant, the interior is just fantastic including a beautiful small garden where also the breakfast is served, the owner and the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful (connection to our next travel destination was perfectly organized in a few minutes), the rooms are very spacious with a nice view, absolutely clean and convenient (air condition provided), the breakfast is excellent, taken together: top value for money

Loved my stay! Perfect for a solo traveler. Had an outdoors space which was locked and felt very safe. Was nice to sit on the roof and see the city without leaving the hostel. Would definitely recommend to solo travelers who don’t want to be holed up in a small room and want some more space.
