We enjoyed our stay very much! The Horizon Homestay family is very warm, clean and they cook delicious meals. Additionally, they are very involved in the community and can help you find activities for during the day. The apartment has a beautiful view of the city and had everything we needed.

“Beautiful Homestay”

We only stayed for one night as a stop over before bardiya national park. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Beautiful homestay in a beautiful part of Nepal. The room was lovely and the balcony had such great views. The hosts are so welcoming and generous. They were happy for us to stay in the homestay till our late bus at 7pm. Which was so kind. Thank you horizon homestay!

We reached late around 11 night but host was very supportive and guided us . The breakfast was excellent and amazing . The host guided us for the town cite seeing .

There’s a really nice family running this property. It’s a bit above the rest of the town but that means you’re probably also in the most peaceful part (with some great cafes/restaurants around regardless) .

“Friendly homestay with great views”

We had a great stay at Horizon Homestay. The host family are so friendly and helpful, and it was lovely talking with them. I had injured myself in Pokhara and they helped me navigate the local hospital for an appointment. They also helped organise our onwards travel, as well as waking up early to cook one final breakfast just for us! They also helped us change our booking when we needed to arrive a day later and stay one extra night. The balcony room has wonderful views of the town.

Great room with great hosts - lovely family

That place is just a paradise in Tansen. I was expecting to stay only one night to rest and continue my way to Pokhara. At the end I stayed 3 nights just because I was feeling so good. One word about owners: perfect. They treat foreigner so well, give you inaught space to feel confortable but are here to help you at any moment. Good recommendations, with lot of activities and things to do, sharing together homemade very good food, feeling like inside a family. Thank you so much 🙏

On the top of the hill you got the best (stunning!) views over the town, mountains on the backdrop. Helpful and super friendly staff, good and healthy breakfast included.

“Truly amazing stay!”

By far the best homestay i’ve at so far on my travels. Dhanishwar, Janiki and Indu are are amazing hosts who made sure i was comfortable and helped me with whatever i needed. Their hospitality is top tier, serving delicious food and tea. The rooms were very very comfortable particularly the beds which allowed for a great sleep. The details such as the different lighting options in the rooms made it extra special. I could have stayed here for weeks and talking with the family was a pleasure each day. Taking the guests out on Holi was a really special experience which i will remember forever! I hope to be able to return one day and highly recommend this homestay to everyone travelling to Tansen.

Horizon Homestay is a warm and cosy accommodation if you want to spend some time in Tansen. The family running it makes you feel at home and are very welcoming. The room is nice and clean and with an incredible view. I could stay only one night but I hope to come back to Tansen sooner or later.

Such a beautiful homestay in Tansen! Janaki, Dhani and Indu were amazing hosts, so friendly, funny, kind and genuine - they really made us feel at home. The food was amazing, we had delicious omlette and banana pancakes with local honey for breakfast and ate Dahl bhat both nights with the family, also delicious! We also did the city walking tour with Janaki which was really informative and helped us see some places we would never find by ourselves. We stayed in the balcony room which was very clean and cosy and the balcony had an amazing view over Tansen and the hills. Thank you Horizon Homestay family!

“Hospitality at its best!”

The room is nice and comfortable, but what made this trip special was the hospitality of the owners, who in a matter of days made me feel like being part of the family. I already knew the people from Nepal are very friendly but in this homestay I truly felt cared for and welcomed and I had a great time. I hope to be back soon!

Great homestay with two outside terraces and most of all wonderful hosts, sweet and helpfull. Nice breakfast too. Very very clean, really perfect!
