“More Than a Stay, a Family ✨”

Man Mohan and his daughter Jenny are very lovely and welcoming. We originally booked only one night as a stop on our way to Pokhara from Sonauli. But… we ended up extending our stay for 10 days! It’s a wonderful place, with the small town, the mountains, and the people all around. The neighbor’s children became our friends and took us everywhere! Man Mohan is also happy to walk with you at sunrise and share stories about Nepali culture. We learned a lot by being immersed in their family life. Jenny cooks very well, her meals are delicious, especially her famous pancakes 🥞 And having tea with her made me feel at home!” We completely lost track of time there…✨

This was one of my favorite stays here in Nepal! The laying is perfect, the view is great and Jenny takes good care of her guests (also makes the best food). Highly recommend this stay! 🙏

Thank you for our stay. We had a lovely time. Balcony with a beautiful view over Tansen. Delicious breakfast in the morning of omelette and pancakes. Also a Masala tea before bed. Perfect place for exploring Tansen.

Manmoham and his family are kind and caring. They made my stay feel like a home from home. Jenny is a great cook and we had some great chats over the kitchen table. It's in a great location, near the top of the town and some great walks and also near the shops, museum and the bakery that also serves good coffee! Manmoham knows a lot about the local area and can provide the information you need about what to see, how to get there and the history of the places you visit.

The homestay is at an excellent location with great views from the terraces. The rooms and facilities are cozy, comfortable and clean. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is great! This is the best place I’ve stayed in Nepal so far.

Don't hesitate. Book! Best place to stay in 5 weeks of travel. Tansen is a fabulous place to visit but made even more so by staying at this guesthouse. Both Jenny and her dad are not just kind and friendly but knowledgeable about the area and spent time each day helping us make plans. Trek to Rani Mahal worth the sweat! Our room had own flower filled balcony/ patio. Powerful fan and hot water shower. We were provided with a great breakfast each morning and Jenny was always keen to hear about what we might like and how to make City View even better! Little touches like ornaments and books in the room made it super cosy. Our stay felt like a breath of fresh air.

The hostel is well located. The room was very comfortable and clean. Jenny the host is a lovely woman who is always attentive to everything and makes you feel very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I also had dinner there and the food was homemade and very delicious.
