Overview
Surrounded by the Poconos Mountains, this lakeside resort is a 5-minute walk from the Camelback Ski Area and Water Park. It features indoor and outdoor pools along with on-site dining. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included in the rooms at The Chateau Resort and Conference Center. A coffee maker and work desk are provided. Guests can relax in The Chateau’s whirlpool and sauna. The gym overlooks the indoor pool and is equipped with cardio machines and a mounted TV. American cuisine is served at the Mountainview Bar and Grille, open for breakfast and dinner. “Close, easy access to Camelback”
Close by Camelback with views of the slopes. Easy parking, food (breakfast) was ok. Beds were ok. Fine for 2 nights, but longer would be pushing it!

I really liked the location and the view from the room (of the mountain). The portions were generous and the dishes for dinner were delicious.

“Grim and depressing”
The location was great - only 15 minutes walk from the ski resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Fair price but place falling apart!”
The Chateau is close to the ski resort in front of a small lake, staff is friendly and the food in the restaurant is above average, although not even breakfast is included. But the price is fair compared to the very expensive ski resort and fancy locations close by.

This place is very unclean and unhygienic and stinks. It is only good for animals and junkies. The room was not clean and the curtain was missing, and the bathroom was stinking. Do not go there with family or when you need to spend a day. It's not clean.

I was extremely pleased at how the front desk attendant, Jimmy, was pleasant and assisted us with all of our needs and answered questions without any issues. The view from balcony side of hotel is simply beautiful and I enjoyed seeing the deers.
