“Great stay in an unusual, charming hotel filled with character with lovely hosts & staff who made you feel very much”

What a wonderful hotel, bags of charm and character. Felt like we were staying in an authentic Moroccan home. Really beautiful filled with all sorts of lovely, interesting home furnishings. The hosts and staff couldn’t do enough for us, very friendly and kind. We were welcomed with a drink & snack on arrival and each day fresh cookies & chocolates left in our room as well as a farewell gift. The last morning they even arranged a small breakfast for us even though we were leaving at 6am! Lots of attention to detail. Although situated within the Medina it was not in a noisy area. If you climbed to the top level you had a view right across the city and a great place to watch the sun set! Breakfast was delicious and lots of it!

Fabulous Rad and wonderful staff, the best stay on Morocco trip. The Riad is exceptional, lots of character, cosy and full of interesting items. Our bedroom was bliss. Lovely soaps, body lotions etc in the bathroom and snuggly robes to put on. A real treat. The staff are all lovely. Friendly, professional and super helpful. A big thank you!

A gorgeous riad inside the Medina, in a quiet street. Beautiful room with great facilities and a really good breakfast on the roof terrace. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Great location, very pretty interior decor, exceptionally clean. Breakfast was plentiful with variety. Ibrahim, Mehdi and Nadia were eager to attend to our needs. Potential guests should note that stairs to upper rooms are rather steep, there is no elevator; also, there are cats on premises. Very peaceful atmosphere.

Dar Sultan was the perfect place to end my travels in Morocco, cementing the impression of this beautiful country as one of the warmest, most welcoming places I've known. The staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, and returning to this gorgeously decorated house each day felt more like coming home than staying in a hotel. I would recommend Dar Sultan to anyone wishing to experience the best of Tangier's hospitality.

An oasis

Beautiful quirky decor . Nice breakfast. Good location. Staff were very kind when some of our family fell ill, bringing tea and water and checking on us. Wonderful toiletries provided.

The hotel is very small, the staff very polite, present and service minded. Fantastic breakfast and staff overall. Our top room Charf would be ideal for honeymooners. Stairs are steep, and there are no elevators. Private terrace overlooking the city and harbor and I am sure on a clear day Gibraltar. Good wireless Internet access.

The staff in the riad couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast on the terrace was superb. The location near the entrance to the Kasbah couldn't be bettered.

Very cute Riad, breakfast was delicious, staff was excellent-so friendly and ready to help. Location was great, close to the entry of the Kasbah and a quick walk to the Medina. We loved their two cats too!
