Brilliant Staff including the cleaners. Laid back vibe and boho feel. and the free breakfast wasnt just white bead and cheap jam or cereal, it was a feast, oats, cereal, pancakes, special breads, 2 jams, honey, olives, tomatoes, cheese triangles, Fruits, pastries plus good coffee (see photo). lots of loos and showers, plus a rooftop to hang out your swimming costume etc. Also they had toilets and free lockers - with locks ! The medina is actually well lit after dark, unlike some town areas. very near the Port if you are crossing from Spain. Probably even better if it wasn't Ramadan. Beach pretty near but I went in early spring.

The breakfast is really nice and one of the best ones I had in Morocco, It's a smaller hostel, which makes it have a pretty gentle feeling to it and easy to go. The rooms and beds are okay.

Great hostel with a beautiful terrace and a delicious breakfast. The position is perfect, right in the medina (and 3 km from the train station). Small lockers are available and there is a lot of space where to put your things in the room.

The double room was very spacious with a separate day-bed. Breakfast is buffet-style which is rare in Morocco. The volunteer staff is friendly and always hanging out in the public area.

Wonderful fun location down the laneways, great top terraces to enjoy the sounds and view of the city plus lovely staff and a delicious breakfast.

I enjoyed two lovely days at Gar Dara and fell in love with this place. I felt at home from the very first moment. The staff is very welcoming, warm, and helpful. The hostel is a bit challenging to find at first, but once you know the way, it’s easy to reach. The rooftop with its wonderful view and the nice jam sessions in the evening make this place unique. Shukran for the amazing time.

This hostel is located next to the market and very close to the beach. The staff are very helpful. Guests can relax and chat on the rooftop. The hostel offers a hearty breakfast. Heaters provide a warm atmosphere.
