The house was clean, quirky, and unique. We wanted to experience the real Tangier, and it was in the perfect place, just off the centre of the old Medina. We met Beatrice, the owner, who was very friendly and gave us suggestions of sightseeing. She was always prompt with her reply to anything we wanted to know, both before and during our trip. The breakfast was delicious, prepared, and served by Fatima, who greeted us with a sunny smile every morning. The roof terrace must have one of the prettiest views in Tangier. Thank you, Dar 23, made our short stay holiday perfect. We hope to return again. ❤️

It’s is a beautiful renovation. A very pleasant reimagining of the past, the rooftop terrace is a huge bonus with panoramic views, perfect for relaxation and evenings.

Beautiful 4 story house with a roof terrace close to Petit Socco . Great views from the terrace. In the Medina and close to interesting places . 2 or 1 room per floor with striking staircase and interiors. Plus many bathrooms

Great Location, lots of space and great host.

Dar 23 is the best riad we have stayed at during our 3-week travels in Morocco – beautifully decorated with great taste. The rooms were nice and neat and the beds very comfortable. It is truly your home away from home! Matt was a great host who was always helpful and responsive. Very good breakfast prepared by charming Fatima was enjoyed each morning on the rooftop terrace which offers a beautiful view of Tangier . We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning someday soon!

“Tangier Treasure”

Dar 23 was certainly one of the best places that we have stayed at during all our travels. A true gem. The place was neat, spacious and had an amazing view from the terrace. The host Matt welcomed us and gave us great recommendations. On four occasions we made use of the cook Matt suggested that came in and prepared dinner and breakfast for us. The food was delicious and it was lovely to enjoy our meals on the terrace taking in everything Tanger has to offer. We would certaintly recommend Dar 23 to anyone visiting Tanger
