There was much to like, starting with a very friendly and helpful host, his comfortable and stylish house, designed well in the old Dutch style. He also made our breakfast himself, in a very local style, and it was very good. The local food market was close, within a short walking distance, as well as supermarkets. All the trips we made to local beaches and restaurants, he gave good recommendations and arranged tuk-tuks or a taxi. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

We stayed one night at Vila Touch of Dutch in Tangalle with my family and had a truly lovely experience. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The villa itself has a beautiful Dutch-style design, with three spacious bedrooms, each with its own attached bathroom. Everything was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy for us to prepare our own meals. The location felt very safe and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing family stay. We especially loved the warm atmosphere and charming décor that made the place feel special.

As soon as I saw the photos of this villa, I immediately wanted to stay here. And I wasn't disappointed! The interior design is amazing, with antique colonial-style furniture, decor, and fresh plants creating the perfect atmosphere and mood. The cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail are admirable. This applies to the room, the common living area, and the kitchen, which is easily accessible. The owner is hospitable, friendly and approachable. Few supermarkets are within walking distance.

Close to centre of city on a rise above the noise and traffic. Cargills supermarket is just around the corner and banks and ATMs are nearby. Very short walk into town or along the beachfront to restaurants. Great breakfast and Guyan went out of his way to get some mi kiri (buffalo curd), plus kitul treacle which is now hard to find. The property is new and built in the style of an old Dutch villa. It is new, clean and everything works - especially the air conditioning which is welcome after a day of out and about. It is also a good base for day visits to Mulkirigala, Wewurukannala Vihara and Matara (Star Fort, Old Matara Fort area) or beach visits.

Everything was nice and beautiful, the villa has very good kitchen and the host is kind and helpful.

Lovely decorations and good location- near a big supermarket, wine store and other shops. Beach is 5 minutes away and some lovely restaurants for the evening are about 20 minutes away. Gayan is lovely and speaks amazing English

The owner of the villa as well as his employee were incredibly friendly and supportive. They helped us with a laundry service and even arranged a safari tour at Udawalawe with a private driver who took us to Ella afterwards. They did their best to make us feel comfortable at any time. Moreover, they made us delicious local breakfast. They let us flexibly decide on the time breakfast being served and even prepared a breakfast package for our very early check-out. The room was very clean and the AC worked perfectly. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

This place is just beautiful, we really liked how it is designed, modern and clean. The room is big with enough storage for the clothes and there is also shampoo, soup and hair dryer which is not so common in Sri Lanka. It is also short walking distance from the beach and restaurantes. The breakfast was delicious.

Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this wonderful accommodation. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. A small terrace completes the whole setup. Our host was very kind and helpful. Once again thanks a lot for your hospitality.
