The best homestay since my arrival in Sri Lanka, the hosts are absolutely adorable and very helpful every time we needed ! I rented the place for my daughter and I, we had our own large bedroom each and the flat had a real dining space with table and chairs, a proper kitchen with everything needed, as well as a sofa to relax and a yoga mat. The kitchen was extremely clean and large enough to cook proper meals. The swimming pool was perfect and we even had a rooftop terrace with massage table and oil and an outdoor table with seats to have a night drink while watching the sunset through the palm trees! 15 minutes walk from the beach through beautiful and green little alley ways, the very small store round the corner sells basic stuff but there is a big supermarket in the town center, 20 minutes away. Tuktuks are very easily available from city center or beaches to get back at night. The beaches around are absolute paradise. There are plenty of restaurants along the beaches As we came off season we found the price of the accommodation very cheap for value and we enjoyed the desert beaches with very few tourists. I have no idea what it's like in the hot season but we had a wonderful time! I highly recommand ! Thank you for this amazing stay 😌

Amazing home stay. Beautiful room. Lovely outdoor shower and bathroom! Pool was so lovely to relax into, very private and quiet. Organised for food to be delivered from the nearby restaurant.

We had a great stay at Soul Villa! The place was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and we were warmly welcomed by friendly people who were always ready to help and think along with us. The swimming pool was definitely a big bonus — especially for the kids, who loved spending time there. It really added something extra to our stay. Overall, a lovely place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended!

“Nature, calm, kindness, comfort, and great local experiences”

I stayed in Tangalle with my sister, and we really enjoyed this accommodation. We stayed in a small independent cabana, surrounded by greenery. It was peaceful, private, and just perfect for relaxing for a few days. The cabana is well-designed, functional, and very comfortable. We especially loved the open-air bathroom — original and super pleasant — and the terrace, where we spent a lot of time chatting or simply enjoying the surroundings. What we appreciated the most was the atmosphere of the place: no noise, no stress, just the sounds of birds and nature all around. Mahesh was incredibly kind — very discreet but always available if we needed anything or had questions. They also offer a lot of great activities: you can go kayaking, take part in a cooking class run by Shali (his wife), and we even enjoyed their brand-new swimming pool, which had just been finished! The location is also great: we could easily walk to the beach, find places to eat, or go for a stroll without needing a scooter. A perfect spot if you’re passing through Tangalle

We enjoyed our stay in the Cabana, host super nice and available. Cabana clean and quiet, we enjoyed the new pool and the cooking class with Shali. I highly recommend this place if you going to Tangalle

It was in a quiet location, near the center and the beach. we had a big apartament, very clean. Also there was a terrace, which we could use it. Full equipped kitchen with the fridge. The host was very nice.

Big space, comfortable stay.

We did not stay at the wood cabana because there was a double booking mistake. But Mahesh was so wonderful about the whole situation & upgraded us immediately to their bigger luxury apartment! The place was amazing! Very well decorated, super clean & made our stay even more special! Big thanks to Mahesh & his lovely family! Highly recommend this place!

The apartment is really comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed. It is set in a beautiful garden, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the scenery and wildlife. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. Mahesh and his wife are true “super hosts”, very welcoming and quick to respond to any requests.
