We really enjoyed our carefree holiday at Villa Modara. A good owner (who will fulfill any wishes) and service staff, perfect cleanliness, white tiles everywhere, the sound of the ocean. Inside the villa there is a pond with fish and a very beautiful garden. A deserted beach with beautiful views. We also talked to local villagers who are very kind and friendly, here we finally saw the real Sri Lanka. Therefore, I do not understand people who give a bad rating without explaining why and without leaving a review. We would like to extend our stay at the villa, but we have work, it is a pity. We will definitely come back here, as the owner said, many come here two or three times. Thank you very much for the pleasant home environment.

“Prestine and very intimate villa”

My stay here was short. Of course the garden exceeds all conceivable expectations. This is probably the greenest place I've seen on my travel in Sri Lanka)) Photos fully correspond to reality and even more beautiful in reality because of many very unique handmade design solutions. A little rain didn't bother me at later evening and they kindly provided me with an umbrella for free for walking, that was a nice gesture. Breakfast was served hot and on time. Beautiful serving on a handmade tray. Very tasty tea by the way. Satiety felt normal. At tmy request, they assisted me in transferring by tuk-tuk to Tangalle and they saw me off very touchingly. Thanks for all.

“Great deal with nice place.”

My trip to rest, combined with business in Tangalle area, fully justified itself. The place is quiet, secluded and nothing disturbs around. There are a lot of birds and animals, and the place is like in paradise. Very friendly villa owners who have prepared everything to the smallest detail. Indoor and outdoor designs look very original. Hosters are constantly interested in whether the guests are comfortable and help them heartily. I asked for a table for working on my computer, it was immediately brought to me. The room is bright, very clean, everything that is stated in the description of the room corresponds to reality. Breakfast was continental. The chef is a very helpful and polite guy from the same village. Ocean 2 minutes walk, the beach is fantastically beautiful, clean and deserted. A very cozy place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city, relax far from the noise and for work on the backdrop of fabulous secluded views. Thanks to the owners for everything they did for me. Recommended !

“Awesome stay!!!”

It was definitely the greenest villa during our holiday. Our room iwas cozy and designed nicely like nothing else. The bed was comfortable, the right size mattress. The pressure of hot water was somewhat reduced, but this is not an issue since it flows naturally and is part of the ecosystem protection followed by this villa. It's pretty valuable. On the balcony, a fabulous view of the lush sal and a fragment of the ocean shore were seen. Awesome scourge! Breakfast was served on time. Tasty and we also had a large plate of fruits. Polite and friendly owners who are ready to very kind help. Definitely it makes sense to stop here for a personalized and secluded vacation away from the city noise in nature.

Absolutely amazing, stylish and quiet place run by an exceptional host! If you like secludness, calmness and nature beauty then this is a perfect match for you! The property has a beautiful garden with plenty of local trees and flowers. The dinner prepared by the owner was amazingly delicious! I'd definitely return here again!

“Paradise”

I loved everything. Just a 3 minute walk from one of Sri Lankas most beautiful beaches. The hosts of the villa are wonderful and so is the food that they prepare. Would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. I will be coming back for sure.
