“Perfect luxury stay”

Everything! Beautiful villa, staff were brilliant, food was some of the best we’ve had. Staff were so helpful, and on hand for anything we needed. They went above and beyond to provide a 5* service. We were very kindly upgraded into a bigger room, and we were the only guests. It felt like a private fully serviced villa experience that you would spent a fortune on. We had a fabulous time and will be recommending to our friends when they visit Sri Lanka later on in the year. Also we loved the little dog! She was so well behaved, was always around but even when we were eating she would leave us be. And we loved it when she’d come for beach walks with us. Would highly highly recommend Villa Blu, we loved our time there and wish we had longer than 3 nights!

“Beautiful accommodation with great staff!”

This accommodation is nothing short of amazing. Genuinely friendly and attentive, yet relaxed staff. Beautiful and well-maintained house and rooms with a great pool. Direct access to a calm and beautiful beach. We even changed our schedule to be able to stay for one more night here. Can only highly recommend staying here, especially when you’re looking for a calm and relaxing stay away from the more crowded places.

“Perfect place”

This is a truly amazing hotel. It’s small, with only a few rooms and not many guests, so you immediately feel at home and can fully relax. What really makes the place special is the fantastic team working there. Such great guys, always friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend staying for dinner - it’s definitely worth it. The breakfast is huge, with plenty of fresh fruit and juice. There is also a Sri Lankan breakfast option, which I highly recommend trying. Overall, it’s a perfect place for a peaceful and memorable stay.

“A luxury yet private retreat with the best staff and hospitaly”

A private property at a more secluded location, with a friendly staff who goes above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Kamal and his crew really are the best. Although there are not many restaurants around, this hotel has an amazing chef who took care of us all day - everything prepared on site, freshly upon request. Sri Lankan curry is a must try here.

“Just stunning!!!”

We stayed in Villa Blu for 28 days , 4.02 to 4.03 and it was one of our best travelling experiences ever!!!Originally we thought of staying in a few places during our trip and I did a lot of research but when we saw Villa Blu on booking.com we decided immediately to spend the whole month and it was a great decision!!I The location is stunning - off the tourist grid- on a small hill overlooking a spectacular , pristine long beach , perfect for beach walking. Total serenity and tranquility.The villa itself is very comfortable and cosy , has a very homely feel. It's also spotlessly clean.Food is very good and fresh and very big portions as well.We checked some local restaurants and decided eating in the villa is definately the best choice.The 5 staff members including 2 amazing chefs and the manager Kamal make the best hotel team we have ever seen!!!They are just wonderful - super kind and helpful , beaming all day with their authentic , heart based smiles.They treated us like family members , it really touched our hearts.We can't imagine a better hotel manager than Kamal -the owner is very lucky!!It's a perfect place for Nature lovers and beach walkers.We were also practising yoga with a fantastic local teacher (30 min walk) and had some great ayurvedic treatments.We feel totally rejuvenated and are very , very grateful to the whole team.THANK YOU!!!!!

The property was a beautiful oasis of calm in a wonderful location, staffed by a wonderful team led by Kamal… all of the staff were highly professional and accommodating and the dining was exemplary.

“A beautiful, remote villa located on a quiet, long beach.”

Villa Blue is an exceptional hotel. It’s location is right on a very quiet and secluded beach. The villa itself is beautiful, unique, and spotless. The food offered was incredible and Kamal, the hotel manager, was extremely welcoming and couldn’t do more to help.

We really loved it! It was truly a place to relax and simply enjoy the day without much fuss. We usually go out to eat, but this time we took full advantage of the restaurant there and ate all our meals on site — and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, from sandwiches to fish, curry and pasta. We tried many different dishes during our stay. Mithun was especially helpful and funny. The beach there is incredibly beautiful and perfect for long walks. The sea is a bit wild with many waves, but you can definitely go swimming — just with some caution. But our favorite was Kallo (probably spelled differently), the “house dog.” She was so sweet and well-behaved. Every morning she walked with me to the beach, waited until I finished swimming, and then walked back with me. P.S. I accidentally left a sports top there, and they kindly sent it to my next hotel free of charge — which I thought was very thoughtful.

It truly feels like heaven. A peaceful, beautifully aesthetic place where you can completely relax and unwind. Everything was flawless — from the spotless rooms to the genuinely caring and attentive staff. You have everything you need in your room, and the managers are always happy to assist with anything extra. The breakfasts are excellent, varied, and thoughtfully prepared. This is a place where everyday routine fades away, and your mind becomes clear and calm.

Sonetimes you arrive somewhere by chance and it turns out to be a very good choice. Villa Blu is wonderful, the location, the facilities, the rooms, the food, the staff, everything. A home away from home. Enough to see in the area and Kamal and his staff will help you to get there. And when you get back, dive into the pool and/or take a walk on the beach. One of the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka, still not discovered by mass tourism (so don't tell anyone 😉).

We had the most perfect stay at Villa Blu. We would recommend this accommodation to everyone and we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back! - Kamal and every member of staff were exceptionally kind and friendly, we were treated so well and every request was fulfilled. The level of service was exceptional. The staff were always ready to help with whatever we needed. - Beautiful location right on the beach, we often had the beach to ourselves. The ocean was too strong to swim at the time of year but the pool was amazing, clean and offered a fabulous view of the ocean. - There were a few local restaurants within walking distance with great food. Kamal and his team organised an amazing safari to Udawalawe and helped organise transport to beaches/towns further down south whenever we needed. - The villa was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, everything felt very luxurious. The bed was comfortable, the room was huge and the bathroom was very nice and modern. Our rooms linen were changed daily which we thought was very nice. - The breakfast was exceptional, super fresh and with many options. Every additional meal we ordered for lunch and dinner was delicious - definitely some of the best food in Sri Lanka. Amazing seafood!! We also tried many cocktails and all were delicious. Thank you to Kamal and team for the most perfect stay, it was a huge highlight in our Sri Lanka holiday. 10/10 !!!
