Everything was perfect! The silence of nature, the comfort, the food and the family that took care of us. It is a place where you feel you want to stay more time and forget about everything else. Thank you Nethu! ❤️

We had a great stay here. The place is very clean and comfortable. Nets and AC in each bedroom. The family who run it are wonderful. We would really recommend the breakfast! It was really tasty and the family were so lovely and were happy to deal with our preferences (food dislikes). The location is awesome - there are two small, quiet beaches very close by and a lot of delicious places to eat. Google maps seemed confused when we tried to go into Tangalle proper and said it would be 30 minutes - it is not and the directions take you the wrong way before doing a u turn; it is 12-15 minutes. Do be aware that there are no ATMs directly in the area - you have to go to Tangalle proper.

“Perfect. Had a wonderful stay”

Lovely family run accommodation. The room was actually a small bungalow with well equipped kitchen and bathroom - modern, nicely decorated and spacious and the bed big was very comfortable. Air con and fan both worked really well. WiFi was consistently good. Bathroom and shower were good too - hot water available for showering. Nice seating area outside the bungalow where we were served a traditional plentiful breakfast with fruit. The location was perfect - between Silent Beach and another smaller bay, the first stunning and unspoilt with huge waves. The second a bit more rustic, more sheltered with fishing boats and a couple of cute eateries. The owners were very friendly and helpful - ordering a tuk tuk for us the day we left.

“A relaxing piece of paradise”

What a great place in a great location. Lodged in between two of Sri Lanka's great beaches, the villa is a perfect little heaven to relax and have a peaceful stay. Walking a few minutes to watch the sunruses, sunsets, tens of restaurants just around the corner. We loved sitting in the garden and watching the birds play in the canopy of beautiful plants. The hosts were super friendly and responsive!

We had a wonderful stay here. It was my first time in Sri Lanka and it felt so nice) Owners are amazing, so kind and helpful ❤️ We had delicious breakfasts, which were not spicy as we asked) Also beach is very close , silent beach is on my opinion the most beautiful and cosy! The villa is comfortable and has everything you need for your vacation) Also owners can help with transfer and totally with everything you need) I hope we will come back one day. I love Sri Lanka ❤️❤️❤️

“Lovely place”

A beautiful place, very quiet and extremely clean. The best regional breakfast I had in Sri Lanka. Very close to the beach — it’s a pity we couldn’t stay longer.

The breakfast was delicious and generous, different sri lankan dishes to try every day. Nethu's family took great care of us providing tea, coconuts and doing our washing as additionals, they were really kind to us and we felt so at home in this peaceful atmosphere.

One beach is basically at the door steep down the stairs, while another beach (better for swimming with toddler) and surfing is 500m away, so you can choose what beach you want today. Accommodation is fully equipped apartment with 2 bedrooms, licing room and kitchen. Peaceful garden and patio. Our lovely hosts even did our laundry, free.

This was a nice stay, we had 2 good rooms with AC. Nethu was a cheerful host, always with a smile. Perfect location nearby Silent Beach. We had tasty Sri Lanka breakfast.

“Perfect accomodation and generous hospitality”

This was such a lovely place to stay - clean light accomodation with everything we needed - small kitchen area, generous shower room, air conditioning. The family went out of their way to ensure we had everything we wanted - they did our washing without charge and cooked us a lovely breakfast on our last day (again without charge). It is a short walk to a large golden beach and a little further away (10 minutes walk) is a sheltered bay for swimming. Everything was perfect.

“Great stay”

A perfect little retreat just a set of stairs away from an idyllic beach. Do not even look at any restaurants in the area, as the food lovingly prepared by the family is up there with the very best we have had in Sri Lanka, both in terms of the feast we had for dinner and the bountiful breakfast. The room has everything you could need, including a very decent kitchen set up. Could not recommend highly enough.

A perfect place to unwind and relax. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach, set in a peaceful, natural environment. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Ideal for anyone looking to escape the crowds and enjoy some quiet time.

Peaceful location in a beautiful garden setting. Spacious room with kitchenette and bathroom. Delicious home cooked meals. Walking distance to beaches. Away from hustle and bustle. Other local and upmarket restaurants nearby.

“Friendly amazing stay at Silent Villa Homestay!”

Beautiful family. Nothing was too much trouble. I also booked Sri Lankan breakfast. Roshanee was amazing cook and daughter Nethu was very helpful with directions and information about local area. Silent Villa is little gem.

The place is in between a small group of homes. Its basic but beautiful and the jungle is surrounding everything. The beach is just a staircase away and clean and amazing. Most importantly is the welcoming and caring host family. They cooked everyday the most delicious breakfast and were loving and welcoming, almost treating us like family. They wanted to make the stay the best expierience and were succeding in doing so. Warm hearted, helpful and charming in a personal and very unique way. Loved every second of our stay and we highly recommend everyone who looks for an authentic expierience to stay with the beautiful family.

The room was perfect with a lovely little kitchen and a very short walk from beautiful silent beach. It was extremely quiet and we could not have asked for more accommodating hosts.
