Amazing host, great area and a nice room. Really good food. We’d definetely come back!

I've been in srilanka for almost 6 months and this is by far the best budget accommodation I've stayed in. Walking distance to the beach, a short bus ride to Tangalle . The atmosphere is very relaxed and Indika the owner , like many other good Srilankan host will do whatever he can to make your stay as comfortable and stress free as he can . I could go on , but suffice to say , this is a brilliant place to get away from it all and just relax and chill . I booked for 2 nights but stayed over a week. You can't get better for the price.

Indhika was such an amazing host.

We really enjoyed observing dozens of bird species right from our accommodation! Painted storks, kingfishers... From the balcony, we spotted langurs (black monkeys), monitor lizards, buffalo, and chipmunks 🐿. We went kayaking with Indika, who showed us a channel through the mangroves and the birds. We saw buffalo crossing the ford with herons on their backs. Nice cotton bed linens. A large balcony with pleasant, interesting reviews from previous guests. Even though we don't usually order breakfast, they treated us to Sri Lankan delicacies they prepared for us. They even presented us beautiful souvenirs! They gave us lots of helpful recommendations and were very attentive to our questions. Indika and Majit, our hosts, are open, positive, and welcoming. We were so lucky to meet and become friends with them! We would be very happy to stay here again☀️❤️🙏

The host Indikha is a kindhearted man who went above and beyond to make sure you have the best time here. On top of this you can wake up and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea on the patio that overlooks a lake with a lot of wildlife. If you need some transportation Indikha will gladly rent you his motorcycle. I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience the Sri Lankan hospitality.

“The best place in all Sri Lanka”

We just spent an incredible time at this amazing home stay and we can't recommend it enough! The room was huge, clean, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the surrounding jungle. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, with a variety of local specialties. But what truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of the owner. He treated us like family, taking us to a fantastic dinner at Mango Mango restaurant and even arranging a wild buffalo spotting adventure right behind the hotel! His kindness, generosity, and passion for sharing his country with visitors are truly inspiring. This is not just a home stay , it's an experience. You'll feel like you're part of the family, and you'll leave with unforgettable memories of the real Sri Lanka. We can't wait to come back and visit again soon! “Great Place”

Great value for money! Very basic rooms, but everything you need. The vibe at the place and the location, overlooking a field with many birds makes the place so great. Indika is very helpful and enthusiastic about his job. And the breakfast was great too, he made sure there were plenty of gluten freE options for me too. The bathroom looks very basic too, but it had the best shower I've had in a while here in Sri Lanka.

Incredible host and hospitality, the rooms are amazing and it feels as though you’re right in the heart of nature while only being a short walk or scooter ride from the beach and town. Loved my stay here and would happily return. Thank you!

A stay so great we took another night :)

We stayed for one night. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is great, the vibes are awesome. Breakfast is also delicious- I’m gonna dream about the coconut pancakes.

It was a great stay! The host was very friendly and helpful. When your looking for something close to nature and not the typical hostel experience, this could be perfect for you!

The location is very quiet although it's not that far from the main road. Indika is a really lovely guy, always trying to help and to communicate. The view from the room was wonderful.

The property was just beautiful, surrounded by birds and water buffalo’s. The owner is the nicest guy. When we arrived he made us a welcome tea and cookies, he took us kayaking in the next lagoon and organised a really tasty breakfast for us.

We went Kayaking with Inhika which was amazing and he made a really nice local breakfast! By far our favourite stay in Sri Lanka, we would definitely recommend staying here!

“Bird paradise”

The location is amazing. This place is a paradise for birds, and you can just watch all of them from the room. Indika is a fantastic host that goes that extra mile for his guests. He is slowly but surely building his dream with Three Little Birds and his passion is inspiring. The room is basic, but you have everything you need. With the scooter you can drive to the restaurants in the neighbourhood.
