The staff were exceptionally attentive and always ready to help. The place is peaceful and quiet, perfect for rest and an escape from everyday life.

Mr. Saliy's hospitality was top notch. Loved how peaceful our chalet was, right on the beach, like a slice of paradise. The dinner and breakfast were amazing too. Loved everything. :)

The location was incredible directly at the beach - a quiet and lonely beach. We also enjoyed the area around the chalets, the lagoons, which were great to explore. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for everyone who is looking for a peaceful time - simple, basic and close to nature.

Wonderful welcome, superb position overlooking the Indian Ocean. Excellent service.

Beautiful calm and serene chalet, right by the beach. We stayed here just 1 night but would have stayed longer if we had the time. It's only a short tuktuk ride from Tangalle town and you have the beach, jungle and mangroves right by the water all to yourself. It is also just 10min walk from the turtle conservation centre and place where turtles come to lay their eggs at night. Our host was also very kind and easygoing, making our stay all the more pleasant.

We loved our stay and felt very welcome! Great chalet with all amenities, excellent breakfast and service. We also tried the fish barbecue on the menu, which was also great!

Very quiet and peaceful beach, very good food and big meals, helpful and friendly host, clean room and nice shower, we would like to come back!

“Peaceful haven by the beach”

Beautifully decorated cabins in the older style. Location is secluded, and very quiet. The staff were exceptional, arranging everything and solving problems. You can go for long walks on the beach and hardly meet anyone. Mr Saliya organised a sunrise trip to Kalemitya Bird Sanctuary which we highly recommend. We also saw turtles on the beach - very special. Breakfasts were delicious, we chose the Sri Lankan options and the coffee was great! Swimming nearby: there is a Rockpool about 10 minutes walk away that is safe to swim, otherwise very dangerous. We went to to Silent Beach by tuk tuk one day (20 minutes) and it was a good safe spot for swimming. We also ate some delicious meals at nearby Mama’s Kitchen- only a 10 minute walk away. We were very sad to leave as the staff were so very kind and attentive.
