The room was clean and had everything we needed. The was bed was comfy, air conditioning was very much welcomed. The host was very helpful and breakfast was very good. It is just off a main road, so it is along a bus route. Which made getting there easy for us. It is also just a 10-15 minute walk from silent beach. Also easy to get into Tangalle if you are planning on, by bus or Tuk Tuk. The Overall very happy with our stay, it is good value and would recommend.

This place is really amazing, it was so clean and had a huge bathroom, big bed and also a balkony with a kitchen on it. We stayed at many accomodations around Sri Lanka and even at many home stays and we have to say that we didnt expect to ever stay at one that is so nice as this one.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a great experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. What stood out the most was the value for money — the quality of service and comfort I received was definitely worth the price. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

“Great home, great hosts, great location!!”

Shiwanka and his family were incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, had a really nice outside area and the homemade breakfasts were delicious everyday. And of course, being a 15min walk from Silent Beach was unbeatable and we’d 100% come back!!

Location is great close to silent beach. Facilities are nice and cosy. Great and friendly family that helps you with everything.

2 big rooms with 2 big comfortable beds. Both rooms have an air condition, the bathroom is very modern and clean for sri lankan standards. Very close to the beach and many restaurants nearby.

“Very kind host, very comfortable room”

The room I was staying in had everything I needed - a desk, wi-fi, nice window view, bathroom and a terrace. I cooked breakfast for myself on the terrace - it had all the kitchenware needed. The bed was very comfortable, cleaning happened every second day, wi-fi was good quality, the room is air-conditioned. The host was extremely friendly and helped with so many things - from getting you 5L of water to taking you to the city in a nice air-conditioned car. The location is very good - about 10 minutes walk to the Silent beach (best beach there, honestly) and about 20 to the Goyambokka, lots of restaurants, a coworking place, yoga classes. Very quiet and calm place.

Extremely good value for money! The rooms are beautiful and everything seems neawly renovated. Everything was very clean. Silent beach was in walking distance and the hosts were kind and helpful.

“perfect trip to tangalle”

the stay at this property was that good, that we ended up cancelling our follow up plans and extended our stay. the room was massive, the facilities were great, the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. we couldn’t have asked for more during our stay. we used the laundry service and it was cheap and effective and returned to us the following day. a lovely property, run by a lovely family

“Lovely place and Great value for money!”

Wonderful family, great location albeit a scooter is probably needed to get into Tangalle and other beaches. The outdoor balcony space is great and it is walking distance to Silent Beach. Laundry was great and the hosts helped with everything we needed.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was huge with a kitchen and balcony. All very clean. Just off the main road but quiet as we had a room at the back. Lots of lovely restaurants to choose from as well as a few on the beach. 15 mins walk to the beach. Plenty of little shops nearby from supplies and only a 35 minute walk to centre of Tangalle

This was our second stay at Tanzanite place and it's always a pleasure, a different room this time but equally as spacious, clean and comfortable. Great value for money.

Great place near the beach and various restaurants. On the Matara/Embilipitiya bus route so if you arrive by bus then it will stop right outside (almost). And easy to catch the bus into Tangalle or to other beaches. Got a great room, lots of space, clean and comfortable. Liked it so much I extended my stay.
