Amazing place to stay. Kasun is the best host, always available to help with a tuk tuk or scooter rental. Great location as well within walking distance of tw beautiful beaches and lots of restaurants nearby. All in all the room was great value for money and was our favourite hotel that we stayed in the whole of Sri Lanka.

“Exceptional Stay - Can’t recommend it enough!”
We can’t recommend this place enough. Kasun is such a kind & helpful young man, managing the place by the motto „it’s not a business, it’s a home“. And you can feel that during the whole stay. He did our laundry, organized a scooter rental and made a lovely breakfast with fruit platter, coconut filled pancakes, toast, jam, fruit juice, omelette and dessert - and he changed it up a little every day. You can also get sri lankan breakfast, if you like. At our last day, he organized a tuk tuk for us, explained what bus to take and gave us a water bottle for the road. It’s those little things that made our stay so memorable. The room was VERY clean and spacious, the bed was cozy with 2 pillows each. The terasse was a nice plus (also very clean). Especially the bathroom exceeded our expectations: clean, shower with strong waterpressure & hot if you need that at 30 degrees outside & VERY spacious. Wifi was very good, too. The location is perfect as well: 5min walk to Goyambokka Beach, 20min walk to silent beach, restaurant are nearby as well. Tangalle City is 10min by scooter. We liked staying outside the busy city and silent beach is the most beautiful beach anyway. We can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful hotel in a very good location. Clean and spacious rooms. Very helpful owner, who gives everything to make your stay perfect. Yummy and plentyful breakfast! 10/10!

On our journey throw SriLanka, this was by far the best apartment! Extraordinary nice hosts and a very nice breakfast, extra tasty and more than enough. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Absolut recomandation!

“definitely the best value for money with lovely hosts!”
we loved everything! The hosts were so nice, they ensured we had a wonderful stay. The room and bathroom were really clean and we felt very comfortable. It is a little out of town, but very close to the silent beach (1.4 km) which was such a nice beach! Also only 5 min walk from another beach which was also very nice. Breakfast was delicious and you could choose between western or Sri Lankan style.

“Most caring host”
Big rooms and big WC. Good Wifi and cozy outplace. The host helped me and my boyfriend so much. Such a service minded young man. I can really recommend this calm and soft spot. Close to Goyambokka beach and an easy tuktuk ride to silent beach that is worth to visit. Really reccomend this place!

“Best hotel in Sri Lanka!!”
Amazing hotel near by one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is very clean, beds are very comfortable and breakfast is superb! Kasun is a lovely host who will make sure your stay is perfect. Value for money - you cannot find a better deal than this! Thanks for everything Kasun! We will be back one day

“Highly recommended”
Our stay at Tamarind Blue was great! Kasun the owner is the personification of kindness. The hotel is in a great location near the beach. The room was clean with a beautiful bed. What really stood out was the hospitality. You can read it here as you can in all the other reviews: this is a good place to spend your stay. Highly recommended!

“Everything perfect!”
We had a very pleasant stay at Tamarind Blue! We were welcomed by Kasun who is very kind and humble and he and took care of us during the whole stay. He really did everything to make us feel satisified and happy (he organized a scooter for us, arranged tuktuk and even let us check out later). Breakfast was delicious with plenty of food including a big plate of fresh fruit, omelletes, sausages and Sri Lankan food (coconut pancakes were the best!) served on a small terrace outside of the room. Location is quiet and a bit far from the town, but in a walking distance of two beautiful beaches (Goyambokka and Silent beach). You can get to Tangalle town by a scooter or tuktuk in 5-10min. Room was spacious and clean, we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place to everyone planning their trip in Tangalle. Thank you very much, Kasun!
