“This felt like luxury at a very affordable price”

Newly built exceptionally clean room with a beautiful shady terrace at the front. The bed was very comfortable, and the mini fridge was a nice touch. The guest house is very close to bars and restaurants on the lane, but it’s quiet and peaceful. The owner was kind and informative and I felt very welcome there. The beach is a five minute walk Ute walk away and is possibly the most beautiful I have ever seen.

We had a very pleasant stay. The host was kind and helpful. The location is great, just a short distance from the beautiful Silent Beach. The room and bathroom were clean, and air conditioning was available. There is also a small kitchen you can use. The breakfast we ordered was excellent. We can definitely recommend this place.

The room was comfortable. The location is quiet, right next to Silent Beach, a beautiful spot, with a few restaurants nearby. It’s peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a calm stay.

Sampath is the best host I’ve had so far. He is super friendly and helpful, he even accompanied me to the hospital after an injury and took care of me afterwards. Can’t thank you enough Sir 🙏 Also the place is great, clean, perfect location and tasty food.

Couldn’t but be happy with the compact room, Sampath as host and the location within earshot of Silent Beach. Room started out clean and they kept it freshened. Kettle was a great addition for this tea drinker. Location is super- maybe 150m downhill to Silent Beach and the adjoining Easy Life campus was very handy for dropping in to eat and drink. I paid for the additional breakfast and it was delicious and plentiful and the balcony was the perfect place to enjoy it. All in all, it easily met and surpassed my expectations and in Sampath you’ve a thoughtful host with plenty of helpful tips.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandhara! The hosts were super lovely, attentive and provided great hospitality! I would 100% recommend staying here, it's also super close to Silent beach which is a big plus.

Perfectly clean homestay run by Sampath a lovely gentleman who will advise you on lots of activities to do in Tangalle. The apartments are in a fabulous location just 2 minutes walks from the beautiful Silent beach. Sampath provides exceptional service for an extremely reasonable price highly recommend!

Amazing comfortable room! Very clean room/ensuite and awesome aircon! About a 2min walk down to silent beach. The owner was incredibly kind and accomodating, he even held onto our bags for a night when we went to Madiha for a night (after our booking). The bed was very comfy, the room also had a mosquito net and kettle which was an awesome bonus! Highly recommend staying here if you want a pleasant/affordable stay at silent beach❤️

“Perfect location for beach”

Perfect location just seconds from the beach. Lovely host who was available to answer an queries. Also made us dinner at short notice one night. Loved the private out door space. Don't be fooled by the budget room it is actually well equipted with fridge and kettle. Had a lovely philosophical chat with Sampath he is a really attentive and insightful man.

It was a nice stay. They even have a fridge and a wash mop (for removing the water in the bathroom after showering).

“Great place to stay!”

Perfect location right next to Silent beach. We had rented a small apartment that was ideal for 3 people - we had a small kitchen with filtered drinking water (a huge plus in Sri Lanka). Our host was very helpful and responded straight away to any questions we had. The room was really clean, modern and had everything needed: AC, great comfortable beds with mosquito nets, big washroom, nice ptivate outside area with table and chairs. One of the best accommodations we had in Sri Lanka!

Amazing place, exceptionally clean!

Very nice homestay near to Silent beach (one of the nicest in sri lanka). Room is smaller, but you will find all you need here. Bed is comfy, with mosquito net. Bathroom was clean. There is small shared terace in front if the room.wifi work ok. The family is very friendly and helpfull, they serve amazing breakfast. There used a nice coffee/restaurant just next door.

I would recommend this place! Owners were helpful and easy to reach during my whole stay. The room had good price/quality ratio and the closest beach wasn't crowded.

Very good location close to Silent Beach and the neigbour restaurant which provides delicious food, nice area to chill out and even yoga classes.
