“Great resort on the beach”
We loved our stay at Marakolliya Beach resort. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is modern with all the facilities you need. Our room was clean and spacious. The resort is located on the beach with an infinity pool. Breakfast was lovely. Such a nice treat to have breakfast overlooking the beach. Definitely value for money. Highly recommended!

A very nice hotel with a good pool and a very good breakfast, with variation from one morning to another. It's at the end of the road and you could see monkeys and lizards close by.

Lovely pool. Comfortable room. Great view overlooking the lagoon and very quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the AC in our room and they replaced it the next day

“Relaxing Beachfront Stay”
We had a wonderful stay. The location right on the beach and the pool are fantastic - you really feel like you’re in a true resort setting. The area is peaceful and tranquil, yet there are still plenty of lovely restaurants within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially those working around the pool and pool bar. We would definitely go back again.

“Great beach location”
Lovely location right on the beach. Kayaking on the lagoon was fun. Yoga and massage available as extras.

Location right at the beach was very nice. Pool area and pool bar was really nice as you cant swim in the ocean. Staff was lovely in the reception and in the restaurant/pool bar. Yoga classes were really nice in this quiet area surrounded by trees and river. You can use kajaks for free and go to see the river.

“High Quality Hotel at beautiful Tangalle Beach”
Incredible Service, very good management, always organized and taking care of the whole area. Good vibes, Friendly chats. Very nice beach with good sunbeds. Pool is refreshing. Rooms are very clean, good AC, air quality is good, no mold like so many other places. Very good beds. Restaurant is amazing, sitting next to the waves and great food. We extended from 2 nights to 6.

Marakolliya is right at the beach, totally private and extensive, with a lovely kept beach forest, a pool with pool bar, and rsstaurant and bar with a view over the beach. Our bedroom faced the beach, overlooking the pool. Another restaurant also had a pool table and bar area with Sports TV. On the beach were several hammocks and daybeds to enjoy, either to nap, read or watch the ocean. The staff were kind and thoughtful, and we enjoyed family games with them.

“Beautiful resort”
Beautiful resort close to the town center (tuk tuk ride 2 minutes). It is located at the beach and has large swimming pool, water is warm and clean. There is pool bar as well so you can enjoy the cold Lion beer ;) Stuff is excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

“Go there if you want to relax in a beautiful area”
Hotel is situated in amazing area, beach is beautiful, you can have full relax here. Rooms are big enough and clean. Hotel’s staff is very nice and will help you with everything - hotel equipment, taxi, places worth to see, special thank you to Chalani, who made our stay even nicer, serving us delicious drinks, helping us out everyday with a smile:)
