I was looking for a little bit of luxury for a couple night during my 3 month travel of Sri Lanka and this place was it! So happy I booked here. The room was stunning spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a real treat with a huge shower and hot water and so clean! Complimentary robes and slippers, a safe and fridge in the room, luxurious pillows and furnishings made you feel like you were staying in a 5* resort. The view from the room over the lagoon was so serene and idyllic. The pool was gorgeous to sit by during the day. The staff were incredible, so friendly and caring, from welcome drinks and conversation to being brought a coconut by the pool whilst relaxing. Room service is available with a nice selection of wines of offer. The food was lovely in their restaurant and again tip top customer service and all with a smile. You can tell the people that run this have a real passion for it and they do a brilliant job! When I come back to Sri Lanka I will 100% stay here again! Thank you again to the hosts!

“You will not regret staying at this beautiful resort.”

This was our most favourite stay during our 3 week trip to Sri-Lanka. On arrival we were given flower garlands and drinks. We had the most beautiful room over looking the Lagoon which was spotlessly clean. All our meals were very tasty with a good selection to choose from. This was the perfect place for us to rest and relax around the lovely swimming pool after a long journey. There are free kayaks to paddle round the lagoon and bikes to hire to explore the surrounding area What made our stay even more special were the kind owners and staff that worked so hard to ensure our stay was memorable. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer. We highly recommend to any one to stay here. Thank you so much for making out time with you so special.

“At the end of the world”

Very comfort and beautiful rooms with big terrace. Comfortable beds, big bathroom with the view at the lagoon. Iguana visiting the place, pelicans on the lagoon. You can swim in the swimming pool even in the night under the stars! Perfect!

“Paradise next to a lagoon”

Hosts were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Family room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Balcony overlooked the lagoon so we could sit and watch the wildlife. Pool and garden areas were very well maintained and tranquil. Food is freshly prepared and very tasty.

The hotel offers spacious, well-equipped rooms designed with care for guests' comfort. The friendly family who runs the place speaks English and goes out of their way to make sure everyone has a great stay. The food is excellent, whether you fancy fish, seafood, or local dishes—you can choose from the menu or request something special. Breakfasts are tasty and varied. Good wi-fi. If you're into relaxation, the hotel sits by a beautiful lagoon where you can kayak. In the vicinity, there is a reserve with diverse bird species, making it an excellent spot for birdwatching You can also rent bikes or treat yourself to a massage. The pool is clean and inviting, and since the hotel is peaceful with only a few guests, it's a perfect spot to unwind. Do not miss the opportunity to watch the beautiful sunset from the bench by the lake.

“Amazing Stay!!”

The best property in Sri Lanka. This was excellent value for money. The Owner was amazing and made sure that we were well looked after. The staff were incredible. They even waited up for us after a night out. The rooms were top standard and had all amenities. One of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The restaurant was so good and I highly recommend the seafood platter. This was such a great stay for such a cheap price. I recommend that the hotel charge more!!!

“Apsolutelly the best!”

Resort is on great location, its so peacefull and nice. Rooms are very tidy, comfortable and super clean. Pool is great also, we spend hours there chillin' out. They have great restorant, food is amazing, we had dinner there 3 times and we loved all food there. Apsolutelly perfect. Personell is the highlight here, those people are amazing! Very profesional, on service all time, ready and capeable to help with any wish or desire. We felt like we are one big family. This is one of top 2 hotels where I been in my life traver experience. Thanks a lot, you are amazing!

“A wonderful three nights which passed by too quickly.”

This is a beautiful property. The room and resort were tastefully constructed and furnished. Our first floor room faced the lagoon and the balcony was a great place for enjoying the view with drinks and a good book. We were spoiled rotten by the attentive staff and the food preparations were the best we have had so far on our Sri Lankan tour.

For the price we paid there will definitely not be a better hotel in Sri Lanka if it was beachfront they could charge 5x the amount. Everything about the property is exceptional. One of the best properties we have stayed at. Lots of birds, squirrels and a few monitor lizards. Kayak is available for free to use in the Lagoon opposite the property. Nice pool with light effects in the night. Stunning views from the balcony. In one word - exceptional

It was so enjoyable stay in lagoon gate. Caring service by all stuff is on highest level. We will never forget hospitality that we were met late at night when we arrived at the hotel. Speciality of this place is very tasty prawns and seafood that you will never find in tangalle. My very special thanks to Lali and Salinda for satisfying all the requests. And cooking man for breakfasts and very good coffee, i dont even figure out what is the secret of it ))

“Lalith is a shining STAR!”

An amazing resort to relax by the lagoon of Rekawa, very near to Tangalle with huge and stunning rooms, incredible clean and with all amenities needed. A stunning swimming pool where you can chill out having a drink and observing the wild animals around such as squirrels, 2 kinds of monitor lizards, hundreds of birds,beautiful snakes,colorful parrots, monkeys and many others! The resort itself is in a virgin environment area by a protected lagoon in which there are fishes, lobsters,prawns and crabs incredibly delicious and tasty BUT most of all the most important is the people running the hotel. LALITH (or Lala) and his family, who is the one that manages and supervises the place, is a shining STAR and great Host i 've ever met ! He's the one that covers all clients' desires at once without any hesitation and always with a big smile! Great value for money! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! “The best place to rest and enjoy the nature”

This is the best place we stayed so far. The rooms have an amazing view to the lake including from the bathroom! The design was beautiful and look elegant. Outside the room we were able to see animals and plants or rest at the swimming pool. But what makes this place so special is the wonderful staff. They are so caring and kind and the food they cook is delicious! They care about every detail!
