“Beautifully designed hotel with fabulous staff”

I thought this hotel was incredible. From the very warm welcome and showing us around until we left. We only had 2 nights here but the hotel is stunning. The design of the place is beautiful, we had a 1st floor Ocean view and lovely balcony with a bath. The swimming pool is gorgeous and lovely sun loungers. We also used the hotel gym, small but had what we needed. Food was really excellent, so much so we ate on site both nights, recommend the lobster linguine & the seafood platter (we shared with some salads).

A little slice of heaven. Every member of staff was so friendly & welcoming, the setting is stunning and the rooms absolutely perfect. Early morning yoga with the waves in the background sets you up perfectly for total relaxation for the rest of the day. The food and cocktails are great. We stayed two nights, three nights would have been even better.

“Stunningly Beautiful Boutique Hotel”

Wow, what a beautiful small boutique hotel in a quiet secluded location directly on the beach. The building was absolutely stunning, so well laid out with just 8 rooms and a separate villa adjacent. The grounds were well tended and boasted a large freshwater swimming pool, Yoga pavillion and access onto the long sandy beach. The food was delicious with a varied menu, with a large range of cocktails and drinks. The staff were amazing, friendly, polite, genuinely interested in the guests.

Our stay at Kayaam Wellness was absolutely fantastic. We booked the hotel spontaneously for two nights and were welcomed in the warmest and most genuine way from the very first moment. The food deserves a 10/10 – outstanding quality, beautifully prepared, and offering a great mix of traditional Sri Lankan dishes as well as Western options. There is truly something for everyone. The hotel has only a small number of rooms, which creates a very calm, peaceful atmosphere and makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The stunning pool and the direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach leave absolutely nothing to be desired. Every single member of the staff is exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of the guests. A very special thank you goes to the hotel manager Hemal, who went above and beyond to help organize several surprises that my partner had planned for me from Germany — all without my knowledge. Thanks to his effort and dedication, my stay was even more special than I could have imagined. The massages offered at the hotel are also an absolute must-do — deeply relaxing and perfectly executed. “A calm sanctuary”

This beautiful hotel is situated on a quiet section of the beautiful Tangalle beach. Morning yoga on the terrace was fantastic. The breakfasts were plentiful and tasty. The staff were attentive. The rooms are spacious and clean and the outdoor bathtub was a lovely addition to our sea view balcony. Three nights was perfect here..time to explore the more busy towns and beaches nearby and retreat to the calm sanctuary of this lovely hotel.

Absolute paradise! A really serene and magical space to chill out. Our host Hemal was really accomodating, as were the wait staff and chef - excellent vibes. Massages were the best my partner has ever had.

We felt like it was a private villa, there’s no crowd on the beach. The staff was excellent and very helpful! The food was great as well. They provided unlimited water. You can also join the fishermen at the beach supporting them to pull the net from the ocean, they are very grateful in return 😉

Staff were super helpful and friendly. The property is well designed. Comfortable beds, fully stocked mini bar and comfortable room temperature to sleep in. They put the effort to celebrate Christmas and left thoughtful gifts/treats in the room. Beach was lovely. Restaurant was very good.

The Spa is amazing and offers traditional Ayurvedic treatments and have an experienced Ayurvedic doctor on site guiding you through the treatments.
