Anu and his family have a beautiful home just a few minutes walk to the stunning Tangalle Beach. We were made to feel so welcome, our bedroom was super clean and very comfortable. Anu's wife even prepared dinner for us one evening and it was some of the best Sri Lankan food we've tried on our whole trip! I would recommend Julianu Homestay to anybody and we really hope we can return in the future. Thank you!

We had an excellent stay at the home of Anu and Pawani! The room fulfilled all our expectations as the bathroom is spacious and nicely decorated. A big advantage is the location of the homestay: near all the restaurants, cafes and the beach but still very calm and surrounded by the big garden. They welcomed us and made us feel relaxed. All in all I would recommend this Homestay in Tangalle!

We did enjoy our stay in Julianu a lot, the family was very friendly and they have taken good care of us. It's well located, so everything is reachable by walking. The curry we got for dinner was so delicious.

It was my first night in a homestay in SL and if all of them are like Anu’s then I’ll definitely give it a try again! Very clean, very friendly, very quiet yet just a short foot walk to the beach. Lots of storage space in the room and a spacious bathroom. I should have stayed longer - next time then!

Anu and his family were some of the loveliest people we have met in Sri Lanka. Really accommodating and arranged breakfast, dinner and a visit to the turtle sanctuary for us. Their house is absolutely beautiful and the room is super modern and has absolutely everything you need, the bathroom especially was really nice. The location is fantastic, only a few minute walk to the closest beach and promenade where there are tons of restaurants. Would love to stay here again!

“Comfy, quiet, but central lovely home to share with a cute family”

Very comfy, tasteful decorated accomodation in a central, still quiet area of Tangalle. The bed was comfortable too and the bathroom was the best. You share the terrace with the cute family of Anu. It didn't bother us, but for some people it might be good to know. The breakfast was delicious. And don't miss out on a homemade dinner too! One of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. The beach is just a 5 minutes walk away and Anu has good recommendations for the best beaches and other sights in the area. In general he was helpful with everything you need. We would definitely come back :) thanks guys!

Nice location and clean room

The room and bathroom are nice and modern. The property is a short walk to the beach and loads of great restaurants. The host is very helpful, I also got my laundry done here which was returned to me the same day.

The room, the host, the bathroom, the breakfast it was perfect! Perfect location! We have been in 10 different rooms but this is by far the most value we got for the price we paid! Would recommend 10/10

“Fantastic stay”

Fantastic value for the money! Julianu is a lovely, relaxed guest house located just a few minutes away from the main Tangalle bus station and 2-3 mins from cafes and restaurant. The host is incredibly helpful, making sure you have every thing you may need and enjoy your time. He even took us with his Tuk Tuk to provate turtle watching at night. The bathroom is is arranged in a very modern style

“Perfect stay in Tangalle”

The room was really comfortable, clean and cozy. The new air conditioner worked really fine - was very quiet. Unique industrial style - not found anything similar in Sri Lanka so it was a really nice experience. The location is really good, because it is close to the city center and bars near the beach.
