“We planned to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for 6.”
We planned to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for 6. This lovely place treated us so well! Ishita and his Mum welcomed us warmly and provided us with everything needed to feel at home. When they saw that we arrived with food they provided us with a small fridge and it turned out that we could even use a small kitchen on the upper floor — ideal if you like a bit more of a homey feeling! The location is a close walking distance to the beach and its various restaurants. On the corner across the street, you also find a very tasty (local) bakery. We rented a scooter with them and explored tangalle and its beautiful, peaceful beaches as well as its rice fields and the tempels — a week well spent and when returning we would definitely come back! thank you for everything!

Very nice Homestay with the loveliest lady’s. We were welcomed with a fresh juice after a long bus drive. Our room was nice, had a little fan and a balcony where we enjoyed a huge and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast for a good price. We also did our laundry with them. The location is conveniently near the city and restaurants. You can rent a scooter not far from the Homestay or the lady’s can organize a tuk tuk for you. Thank you for your kindness and warm welcome.

“Fully recommended place in Tangalle!”
Good standard of cleanliness, comfortable big bed, good bathroom, mosquito nets, very good location (5 mins by walk to beach and 10 mins by walk to city centre and main bus stand) and very friendly family owning the place. I stayed there during Sinhala new year so everything was closed and they let me celebrate with them. Lovely food, sweets, juices and tea.
