“a hideaway surrounded by nature, a lake, and the beach”
Beautiful place, surrounded by nature, and just a short walk to an unending beach. We were also lucky to see a female turtle laying her eggs under the light of a full moon. They have a pool, and an alfresco restaurant that overlooks the lake. They even brought breakfast to the room - which we could never finish, because it was just such generous portions!

We loved our stay at hideaway lodge. The surrounding nature is just stunning! Staff was really friendly and helpful. Pool was super nice too!

Very nice location by the lake and close to the quiet beach. Only beware of the waves, it is not suitable for swimming. But the hotel itself had a really nice pool area. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Met peacocks on the hotel area, very serene. Many family-run and affordable restaurants in the area. Room was clean and spacious. Recommend!

“Good location away from city”
Walking distance from beach and amazing pool. Nice view of that lake, connection with nature. Great for turtle watching at night but find an experienced guide.

“Luxurious stay at the lagoon”
Beautifull location, luxurious rooms with view over the lagoon but also very stylish wooden terrace for breakfast, overlooking the lagoon. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, The beach only a 5 minutes walk with a great loungebar.

The room was beautiful and spacious and I loved the private balcony. Being so close to nature and hearing the sounds of the birds and wildlife was so nice. Passindhu was so lovely and made my stay super special. He was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing!! I liked the location of the guest house and the peace and quiet. I look forward to returning in the future

Most amazing accomodation of our entire Sri Lanka trip! Beautiful view over the lagoon from the balcony of our cabana. The owner and staff are incredible. Definitely ask for the Sri Lankan breakfast:)

“Very good”
The hotel is beautifully located. The surrounding is peaceful and the view from the hotel is magnificent. The room is big and comfortable and the shower is the best in whole Sri Lanka. The owner is friendly and we could use the swimming pool from a nearby hotel which was perfect. Nearby beaches are beautiful and very quiet. We would go back here.

The location is great! Near the lagoon, you can watch wildlife - birds, big lizards, even quite rare monkeys (not disturbing). A lot of trees and green. The hotel premises are very nice and comfortable. True paradise. Very good breakfast and helpful staff. You can rent a bike as well. Huge beaches just a few minutes walk, and there are places to swim, without big waves.

“Maybe the best Hotel in Sri Lanka?”
The room was very clean, and in a good condition. My wife had a gluten allergy and the staff had very nice alternatives for the breakfast available. Also there was much care for the baby(foodwise), other hotels didnt really had a breakfast for the baby, but hideaway lodge did without asking. Staff is friendly and helpfull. The entourage is great, with a very beautifull garden and location. This hotel was the best stay for us in Sri Lanka!
